🐶Our branch has been given some funding to support local animals by offering low cost neutering for your dogs. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆. We have very limited spaces available so all bookings will be on a first come first served basis. In order to qualify for the support, you must:

🐾Have a male dog
🐾Have an up to date vaccination for your dog (proof of this is required)
🐾Pay a £30 contribution towards the procedure
🐾Live in the Leeds & Wakefield branch area. Please note, the following postcodes are excluded: LS19, LS20, LS21, LS22, LS23, LS24, LS28 & LS29.
🐾Must be able to transport your dog to our vets in Pudsey: Home Comforts Vets, 31 Chapeltown, Pudsey LS28 7RZ.

It’s going to be another lovely day tomorrow, I know they have been few and far between so far this year but please be mindful when walking your dogs.

Remember, if it’s too hot for your hands or your bare feet, then it’s too hot for their paw pads! ⚠️

If you’re unsure whether it’s okay to let your pet go for a walk on pavements, a simple way to test the temperature is by holding your bare skin on the tarmac for five seconds ⏱️

If you find it painful, then your pet will find it painful to walk on!

To protect your pet, it’s best to avoid walks during the hottest part of the day, which is usually between 8am and 6pm. If you can't safely exercise your dog, missing a day won't hurt.

💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 💥💥💥💥💥 Unfortunately I find myself posting a negative post as some people think it’s okay to withhold information about their dogs. As most of you know me you know I honestly love my customers and do my very best to give them the most thorough and positive experience possible. I am a fully qualified experienced groomer and have worked very hard to keep up with regular professional development. As a groomer we all understand that the risk of being bitten is always going to be there, it can happen and does happen but it’s happening far too often, being bitten is not what we signed up for and it is definitely NOT part of the job. If your dog is known to be aggressive, reactive or has ever shown any aggressive behaviour please be honest and say so BEFORE booking an appointment. Withholding aggressive behaviour is against the law. Being a self employed small business i do depend on every appointment i have and my hands are my work if I’m badly bitten I can’t work, it could be weeks if not months before I could work again, which means I don’t get paid, then can’t pay my bills ect. I’ve groomed some nervous dogs in the past, taking my time with them, giving them breaks when needed and reading their body language working with the dog alongside it’s owner as lots of work is also required at home too. Please note a nervous dog it’s completely different to an aggressive dog. If I’m unaware of any behaviour issues this then may become a big problem. Having dogs lunge them selves at my face or won’t let me anywhere near them due to being aggressive is a different story this is not okay these dogs can leave life changing impacts on peoples lives. As you can see from some of the photos I am sharing these groomers all suffered from dog bites and some will NEVER fully recover. All they wanted to do was their JOB and help keep the dog’s comfortable. Even a tiny little bite could turn into an infection and ca
