Description:

We are looking for someone to come forward with a warm heart and a happy home for the most adorable Dottie.

Dottie is a beautiful dog with a personality and temperament to match. Please do not be put off by Dottie's age, she is in good health currently with no medical issues. We are however owing to her years offering her as a LONG TERM FOSTER placement for ever more, with full rescue support from us.

Dottie lives with children and we are happy to place her in a home with children who have lived with dogs previously over the age of 10.

Dottie gets along with dogs, She is totally fine with all dogs off her lead so we believe she can live with dogs, but a careful and controlled introduction would be asked.

Dottie cannot live with cats.

Dottie is an ex working dog, but has lived in as a family dog for many years, she is house trained and lives happily in the home. She is looking for a new home due to a change in the owners working hours and she is being left such a long time, they have made the decision to find a retirement home through us where she can be loved and cared with someone ideally who is home all day.

Dottie does have some lead reactivity with other dogs if they come up close to her on her lead, this has been a lunge or a bark, but this would be unknown dogs and only when on her lead.

We know it takes a special person to come forward to foster a dog of this age, and for everyone who does offer we will be grateful and consider their home. Dottie has only just turned 14 and is in good health and still enjoying a daily walk, she's a pocket sized springer!

For no one time is promised and we hope someone will see past her age and give her the comfort and love and care she deserves forever onwards.

As a long term foster the vet bills will be covered by the rescue.

Please only apply for her if you feel your home will be suitable, be mindful of her age towards incumbent dogs and children and the upheaval this will be for her.

Dottie is based in Mid West Wales, please be aware to foster you need to collect her.

Meet Stitch 🐾 a 3-year-old laid-back and easygoing Springer cross, who loves walks and snuggling on the sofa.

Stitch is eager to please and enjoys being outside. He has lived with other dogs and cats without issue. While he needs ongoing training for lead walking and recall, he is friendly with people, including children, and settles well at home.

Stitch needs a loving family to continue his training, take him on adventures, and be part of his next chapter ❤️ he's a lovely boy and his new family will be lucky to have him.

Charli is a nearly 3 year old Springer cross Poodle located in Bonnybridge, Falkirk, looking for her new home 🐾

She is a lively and affectionate dog who loves routine and enjoys her walks, especially when she can have a good sniff and run. Charli is sociable with other dogs and fine as an only dog, she can live with children aged 8 and above.

We’ve helped lots of rescues in the past, but it’s the first time we’ve donated to help rescued seagulls 😊.

Pawz for Thought currently have 200 youngsters that have been picked up by the public, and their next supply of fresh fish isn’t until Saturday - so dog food it is. And they love the quilts to rest on too 🙂.

It was a pleasure to meet Lynn and find out about the work she does, though we lost count of the calls she took whilst with us. The charity helps wild and domestic animals throughout the North East - and this time of year they are extra busy with seagull chicks because the adults have been pushed into nesting in more urban areas where the chicks out of their nest are being spotted and picked up. Where it’s safe to do so, like any chick, it’s actually best to leave them for their parents to feed and protect.

I was at a lovely village fair in Ingleton today.Bumped into Hearing Dog In training Dora who was helping on a different stall.Thanks go to Jeanette Hutchinson for all her help on my stall. I thought I’d have a go at Morris Dancing as my snuffles went well with the outfits ,I got turned away because I didn’t have a big stick to bash, cheek of it 😂😂😂😂

The draw to win a throw which ran throughout August and September at the various outdoor events was won by Sue Teague. The winning number was 44 and the ticket purchased at Hunwick village fair. This event raised £112 so Thank you to everyone who bought tickets

After a week in Anstruther SE Scotland we have had daily trips to the beach so the dogs could swim and enjoy a different environment to their normal rural walks. Yet again the drying coats have come into play at the end of each walk providing warmth and reducing the amount of sand and water in the car and back at the holiday house. Remember a few simple measurements and you can get a bespoke drying coat

A very hot day at Stanhope show especially as my stall was in a marquee The highlight of the day though was humbling as it was a Spitfire fly past.

Had a very productive few days away near Bromsgrove to have a bit of r&r and to streamline ordering ,pricing ,supplies and develop ideas for All that Wag as we move forward. Thanks to Karen of Hooligans and Hats ( with whom we collaborate ) for making this a pleasant working trip and a video of Holly and the Hooligans on our very early morning walks to protect the dogs from over heating

My girls helped me enjoy a day away from the sewing machine at Seaton Sluice / Blyth beach. We joined Sue from the charity Take away the Tears ( which All that Wag donate to ) and two of her little dogs

Thank you to all of you who took part in the number draw. The money raised is going to top up the insurance of a dog requiring immediate ACL surgery. His owner will be extremely glad to have the assistance and I know would want me to thank all of you. Sorry about the scammers yesterday they have been deleted and blocked and my password changed . I was asked by Ralph’s mum to make a snuffle mat. He is a golden retriever puppy and she wanted something big enough to last as he grew. I think this has met the requirements and he is loving eating his breakfast from it It’s a way of using my leftover fleece as I hate wasting the scraps

Fabulous day at Northumberlandia loads of doggies fitted today and I’m pleased to have made three tri paws warm and cosy

I was trying to sew and this baby just needed a cuddle and a sleep

All that Wag are official fundraisers for Hearing Dogs. We also support events they run. Today and Friday they were invited to run a student petting day for freshers week at Castle college, 9 dogs attended who are all in training,cockers,labs and a poodle. Burdock was an honorary Hearing Dog for the day and Breeze and Holly will do Fridays event. Burdock was the youngest pup there but loved every minute of it,being stroked, playing with other pups and showing some of her newly acquired skills. This is a great way of raising awareness of this small charity and the life changing work it does for our deaf community. The university make a generous donation to the charity and the dog trainers give up their time so willingly. We are proud to donate to HDs
