K9 Fun Club Results - Week 5

Everyone successfully completed the Gamble last night 👏😀

Cooler inside, than it was outside and the handlers all did really well with devising their own course, only for their dog to have a different course in mind! 🤣 All in the name of good fun 🤣

Evening Results:

1st - Luna F with 76 points in 56.44 secs
2nd - Walter W with 64 points in 58.12 secs
3rd - Roscoe F with 61 points in 56.66 secs

Puppy Training - 6 week Course - Wed 31st July 6pm

Small, relaxed classes for that extra attention.

Very experienced dog trainer having dealt with both small and large dogs.

Both activites are held in Langcliffe Institute with car parking available at the side.

K9 Fun Club Results - Week 4

No pressure last night ..... make a fault and you are out!

It was a longer course than normal but no less challenging to the dogs and handlers.

Evening Results:

1st Roscoe F - clear to 16 in 58.64 secs
2nd Walter W - clear to 10 in 21.34 secs

A really good effort with these 2 "live wire" pointers, clearly showing that perseverance pays off.

🏆 Congratulations 🏆 Lynne & Raven

They were the only team from BAKS (North Yorkshire) who attended the Nutter Dogs Agility show today and they came home with not 1, but 2 1st places! 👏

K9 Fun Club Results - Week 3

The Steeplechase Challenge was a great hit for the dogs and handlers, with a flowing course which appealed to Walter's Tunnel Tempatations! 🤣

Evening Results:

1st - Koira A with 15 faults in 66.978 secs
2ns - Walter W with a couple of eliminations (those pesky tunnels) in 47.34 secs

A great evening of practice and laughs with the dogs having a blast!

K9 Fun Club Results - Week 2

Feeling like a summer's evening last night ....... it didn't last long looking at the weather today!

Indoor, in the cool, the dogs were accumulating as many points as possible round the course - with a max of 78 available.

Evening results:

1st Walter W - 78 points in 34.88 secs
2nd Koira A - 78 points in 41.50 secs

Only 2 managed this week but that didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the challenge for a max 71 points.🤣

Agility (Jumping) Competition evening:

There may only have been two dogs able to make it last night in the 6.30pm class, but the practice rounds enabled a lot of great work to be put in beforehand.

A great training and competion hour for these two little stars and their handlers 👏 🐕 🏃‍♀️

The following hour for the "already competing" dogs provided a good few laughs at the end when all the handlers changed dogs for a fun, run around the course ... 🐕 🏃‍♀️

1st Roscoe F - clear in 12.93 secs 👏 Wilson had better watch out as there is competition for the sub 13 seconds league!
Mabel still holding the record of 12.06 seconds.

🏆 AGILITY NEWS 🏆

In the last week there have been 2 Agility shows and the results are astounding:

Longfield Part 1:

Luna had sadly (just) missed out on the Agility win which she needed to gain her KC Grade 2 award.
End resullt: 2 x 1st and a 2nd.

Gouda managed to bring home a few places too.
End Result: 2nd a 3rd, a 4th & a 5th.

Ripley brought home a 4th place, after having found playing to the audience was better fun :)

👏 well done to both dogs and handlers :)

Longfield Part 2:

🎉 Congratulations - Luna made it!!! 👏
1st place in Agility and now a G2 dog 🏃‍♀️ 🐕 😍
Also managed another 4 x 1st, a 2nd and a clear round too.

Gouda also had a great 1st place and a 3rd and is getting better at each outing :)

Ripley came home with 2 x 3rd, a 4th & a 7th. She is coming along really well and starting to focus more on the course and not the audience! 🤣

Very proud of them all 😍

So glad too that the "targeted work" recently is paying dividends for you all 🏃‍♀️🐕

K9 Fun Club Results - Week 5

The heat is on ........ a great night for the Gamble Challenge with all the dogs making a really good try for the top points. 👏

Evening Results:

1st Luna F - 78 points in 57.47 secs
2nd Roscoe F - 63 points in 57.47 secs - yes, the exact same time too!
3rd Bertie C - 47 points in 61.25 - just missing out on the Gamble and those extra 20 points needed.

A great night with the dogs and handlers trying the "Keep it Clear" Challenge :)

Only 1 mastered it, but the practice runs were looking good for them all 🙈
