Terms and Conditions
• Clients will be deemed to have accepted S.D.PawTrails terms and conditions (as laid out here) on signature of the consent form.

• Clients agree to a “meet and greet session” to allow SD PawTrails to meet their pet(s) and discuss all aspects of care required. This meeting will take place in the client’s home by arrangement and is provided free of charge.
• S.D.PawTrails will

not confirm any booking until a “meet and greet session” has been carried out and the consent form has been signed by the owner of 18 years or over.
• All dogs being walked will undergo a trial period to ensure that both the dog and walker work well together.
• In the event of an emergency S.D.PawTrails will make every effort to contact you or the emergency contact provided. Where times is of the essence, the client authorises S.D.PawTrails to seek veterinary attention in accordance with the vet information given in the Veterinary Release Form. Please make sure all these details correct at time of submission and SD PawTrails are kept up to date with any changes.
• The client agrees that if their pet(s) cause harm to another animal or person, including any representative of S.D.PawTrails and this results in injury to either an animal or person, they will be responsible for any expense incurred as a result. This includes but is not limited to, payment of veterinary fees incurred as a result of any injuries to another animal caused by your pet.
: The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they incurred, whilst pets are in the care of S.D.PawTrails.
: S.D.PawTrails must be alerted to any behavioural problems with your pet(s) at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of contract.
: S.D.PawTrails will care for your animal as you would, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure your pets well looked after in your absence, S.D.PawTrails cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet either inside or outside of the home whilst in our care.
: S.D.PawTrails will not disclose any of your personal information to anyone at any time. Your personal information will be used for the purposes of contacting you or the emergency contact. email addresses will be used to send updates of any forms or if the terms and conditions change.
: All dogs must be fully vaccinated, and the owner must complete the vaccination form provided at beginning of contract. Updated proof of yearly vaccinations must be provided when asked to present. All dogs must be on a regular flea & worming regime. If your dog is found to have fleas, S.D.PawTrails reserve the rights to refuse walks until treated properly.
: S.D.PawTrails reserves the right to cancel any contract an any time & with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the walker or other dogs.
: All dogs will be exercised on a lead, unless prior permission with the owner has been agreed and the off-lead permission form has been signed. S.D.PawTrails will use own, preferred, leads for walks (extendable leads will No longer be used) .
: Paperwork for posting photos/videos of your dogs must be signed and will only be posted on S.D.PawTrails business pages.
: S.D.PawTrails will apply judgment and cut short a walk if necessary, because of extreme weather conditions(i.e. for the safety of the dogs and walker. If dogs require quick towelling off after walks towels must be provided and left in area of your choice which is accessible to the walker. Dogs will be showered off and a quick dry before going back into crated van. Water will be available to the dogs at all times. Payments

: Bank Transfer, and Cash excepted. Forms will be given with these details.
: Walks for 1 day a week should be paid on that day, or can talk about this at meet and greet.
: All cash payments should be made on the day day of the last walk of the week.
: All payments made via bank transfer should be no later than the Monday after invoice send out the Friday before unless agreed at meet and greet. All payments should be in by last Friday of the month. Cancellations

: Daily walks cancelled within 48hrs notice will be charged at full rate, within 72hrs will be charged at ½ rate.
: For cancellations of walks for a period of 1 week or more, requires 2 weeks minimum notice. Failure to do so this will result in full charge for the period of absence. To hold your dog space when you on holiday there will be a charge of £5 for each day your dog is normally booked in for ie, if you dog is mon , we’d, and fri that would be £15.
: Termination of contract with S.D.PawTrails requires 4 weeks notice. Failure to do this may result in being charged for the 4 weeks.
: Dogs absent for periods over 3 weeks will be required to pay a retainer fee of 50% of the daily charge, in order to keep the dogs, place available within weekly walks. This fee will be based on how many days a week the dog is scheduled for walks.
: On occasions when I am unable to gain access to your home through no fault of my own (e.g. key left on the inside of your door etc.) these walks will still be charged at full rate. T & C Changes
: S.D.PawTrails will give 2 weeks notice to any changes to the Terms & Conditions. Current Terms and Conditions are effective from 01/04/2021
