🌟‼️🌟ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN🌟‼️🌟

Next week I'm going to be hosting a free webinar about mites and mange in camelids, and it is being sponsored by the British Alpaca Society. The webinar is taking place on Wednesday 2nd August at 8pm UK time. All are welcome to join.

Mites are undoubtedly one of the top concerns among alpaca owners the world over! Come along and learn all about mites, what needs to be done to diagnose them, and what you can do to treat them. If you think ivermectin is the answer, then you need to come along!!

Please register in advance for this webinar - once it's full it's full! Please use the link below: please note that you will need to have a Basic/free Zoom account in order to register (if you don't have one, just click the link to create an account which is super quick and easy, then remember to be logged in to join the webinar!)

https://liverpool-ac-uk.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_euoPAhjbTw-c2_t0ajZ6uA

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. See you there!

[Please feel free to share this post to your communities - it's open to all!]

PS I've been messing around with AI images - not sure why one of the alpacas has a 3rd ear....?!

Entries are OPEN for show on Sept 16th and 17th
Head over to Grassroots and enter now to become part of this fun county show which will feature up to 160 alpacas. It’s a short fleece halter show (suri in 2 year fleece are also welcomed to add the 😎 shaggy factor 👍)
AND a fleece show - for the fleece you’ve just shorn off
Why not enter both ?

As you can see from last year, the weather here is awesome 🤩 🤞🤞and the company’s not bad either. We have a very fun Saturday night shin dig planned (not compulsory but you won’t want to miss it!) and hope to draw in the public crowds to get to know more about alpacas and see some wonderful fleece products - so a great opportunity to promote your farm and your business.

We’d love to see you there - a warm welcome awaits for regulars and those new to showing. And please get in touch if you’d like to take a stand to sell your products or alpaca experience business.

Judges are Roger Clarke for the Halter Show and Mary Jo Smith for the Fleece Show
