To avoid disappointment please get your orders in early for this Autumn/winter as due to Family commitments I will not be at my sewing machine from 25th November to 3rd January. I will still be able to take orders, but dispatch will be from 3rd January.

As the weather starts changing I have been talking ‘kennel coats’ with Carol. Once again I am going to offer the WGW kennel dogs a special price. This will be limited to 3 colours, as below, Superstar, Heartthrob and Balmoral Blue and will be restricted to dogs who are not reserved or out on foster. The cost will be £26.00 for a double layer polar fleece Greytcoat with fleece and Velcro belt. (This is a saving of £6.00). Postage will be dependent on how many coats are ordered as I will try and secure a good price for each delivery.

Please remember I am a one man band and make your individual coat to order. All orders need to be in by 15th November 2023 as I will not be available for the whole of December. Normal service will be resumed from 4th January 2024.

Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare are staging an auction to raise funds for the charity and if you go onto their FB page you will be able to leave a bid.

Rocco’s Harris Tweed coat that is being auctioned was made to measure for him but will fit a 29” to 31” dog. I can adjust the belt position or length of the belt if it is too big for your hound. The colour is as below, a Blue black Barleycorn Harrris Tweed with black fleece lining. The cost price for a similar made to measure coat is £185. Lovely to go up to the WGW kennels today, (while the dogs were having their teeth done). Thank you Carol for my Christmas pressie. Hounds all looked warm and cozy and the last of the coat orders have now been delivered. Happy Christmas to all at WGW, hounds and humans. ###

ORDER BOOK CLOSED FOR 2022. With regret I am having to bring forward my last ordering dates for Christmas delivery. Following the announcement yesterday that Royal Mail have changed their last posting dates it makes it impossible to guarantee deliveries. I have been supplementing Royal Mail with DPD but they have now also suspended local, private customers and EVRI whose one day service has now changed to 15 working days. All orders in hand I will honour the postage that has been paid but upgrade them to first class. The private individual orders I will get off by the end of this week. The kennel orders, I am on top of and there are only 11 of the 50 odd left to do. I am planning to come up to the kennels to deliver the last 2 batches as I have another 10 here ready to send, but no other reliable option. (3 hour + round trip)

Another 10 coats for the kennel hounds went off today, that is now over 30 this Autumn and a further 12 scheduled for next week. Within a couple of weeks all the hounds will have new coats to keep them warm through the winter months. Well done to anyone who contributed.
