✨On the menu today at Imperial Canine ✨

For breakfast the doggies had organic oats (soaked in water) with organic sheep yoghurt, raw coconut oil & blueberries. I think this is their favourite breakfast. 💕

For dinner it’s wild rabbit , sweet potatoes & carrots

We have many dogs that stay with us who bring their own kibble due to allergies / IBD, i also try to stock the brands our regular dogs eat so that you don’t have to bring it. So don’t worry if you would prefer your dog not to eat fresh, sometimes it’s better to keep things as they are and we cater to each dog individually. 🐶

Here we have some wild salmon from chatsworth farm shop that I froze, sweet potatoes, veg & chopped raw leafy greens. (For dogs that won’t eat the raw veg a good trick is to chop it very fine and mix it with the food)

Welcome to Imperial Canine

Based in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, Imperial Canine is a Boutique 5* Home boarding and day care facility.

Day care and Boarding is in our home, providing a home from home environment for your pooch. For overnight stays, we only host a max of 2 dogs from the same household at any one time, meaning our service is completely exclusive and tailored to you. For Daycare, we dont exceed 2 dogs either from the same household or well-matched. We are a truly boutique service offering a wonderful alternative to kennels or large commercial day cares and because of this we have clients travel to us from far and wide to ensure their dogs get the best their is to offer!

Our food is organic and freshly cooked for your dogs 2-3 times per day.

We have two resident doggies called Rocco (boston terrier x frenchie) and Jelly-Bean (Pomeranian) both are three years old and are good with both small and large dogs. We do have a strict trial and introduction process in place which you can read more about over at our ‘info & policies’

We have 24hr supervision and full CCTV. We are a licensed boarding facility with the highest rating from amber valley council.

Set up by Dominique who decided to turn her passion and experience in to a full time business after struggling to find a high quality service for her own horses and dogs when needed, she realised there was a need for this type of service catering to professionals and families alike. Dominique has a background as a HR Business partner for some of the worlds largest banks and consultancies in London and Dubai, and that quality of service carries through to imperial canine.
