BioThane® is a very strong soft coated webbing with a leather like appearance, but doesn't wear like leather and is waterproof, mould resistant and easily cleanable. BioThane® coated webbing has proven durability in applications where safety, cleanability, flexibility and strength are critical. Paracord (also parachute cord or 550 cord) is a v

ery strong but lightweight nylon rope originally used in the suspension lines of US parachutes during World War II. Once in the field, paratroopers found this cord useful for many other tasks. It is now used as a general purpose utility cord by both military personnel and civilians. This versatile cord was even used by astronauts during the STS-82 mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope.

Good morning, already two days over and another two days to go at the Welsh Kennel Club Show! 😍 We are open and ready for you with our large range of Biothane and Paracord collars, leads and long lines.
We already met some lovely dogs over the past couple of days including this gorgeous lively family of Affenpinschers who were showing off their Biothane collars and leads they got from us last year. 🤩

We love this bi-coloured order of matching Biothane collars and leads we recently made for a dog family. 💖
The main colours are fuchsia, baby pink and wine & all have the accent colour sage so they look colour coordinated when out for their walks together. 😍

Update on Indi:
Indi is feeling much more comfortable and happy in herself. The vet is positive that she will learn to walk again, but it will be a long rehab journey.
We just want to say thank you so much for all your kind words and well wishes for Indi! 🥰 And thank you for your patience waiting longer than usual for your orders to be processed last week. We have now pretty much caught up with everything and should be able to return to relatively normal processing speed.

Our girl Indi had to have major spinal surgery after an accident last week. She is back home with us now, but requires 24/7 care at the moment.

Our Story

At Rock It Dog Design we lovingly hand-make dog collars and leads from BioThane® and Paracord. BioThane® is a coated webbing with a leather like feel and appearance, that is very durable, waterproof, mould resistant and easily cleanable. Paracord, a very strong but lightweight nylon rope, is like BioThane® a very durable and strong material. We weave and knot Paracord into stylish and colourful collars and leads with a large variety of colour combinations available. We can also make up your custom colour combinations. We have a great variety of collar and lead designs available and are always happy to make custom designs and sizes to suit your dog.

We, Victoria and James Rock, are your Rock It Dog Design collar and lead makers carefully supervised by our canine team members consisting of Indi and Vegas, two German Shorthaired Pointer crosses; Kai, a German Wirehaired Pointer and Otley, a Staffie cross.

We look forward to making collars and leads for your dogs!
