New puppy this morning 1st time owners.
Always happy to go through options for everything feeding, toys, bedding etc.
Start slow and build up is usually best. Every puppy is different and every household too.

Routine
All using same rules
All using same words in training
Toilet and puppy nipping first.

Firework season is coming are you ready?
If your dog is scared, not experienced Fireworks yet or a new dog. Preparation Preparation Preparation is the key.

Not too late to book a session for options and a plan.

Keep them safe and happy, make sure they recover from the stress and get peace of mind.

Enjoyed my 121 session this morning.
2 friends who walk most days together wanted lead and recall help.
I paired them one session together (paid half each)
The dogs did well and all learning together as they would when out.
, they can help each other too.

Multi dog household with inter dog fighting.
These are complicated and take a while to unravel what the issue is and how to solve it.
Can happen for a number of reasons and between any breed combination.

Great reward when sorted and the greeting is now 3 happy dogs and lots of wet kisses when I arrive.

I get about being a trainer, love the variety of places I work.
My concern comes when you come across paid dog walkers with dogs free no recall.
Or dogs with issues free no recall.
Incident this morning was scary as 3 dogs no recall and 1 seemed really scared of the walker.
Be cautious who you trust and check they are insured
I know some great walkers, but not all are.
I'm sure if any of the owners of them 3 where around watching they would have been appalled.

Did you know your dogs nose print is unique like a fingerprint in humans.
No two noses are the same.

This morning teaching free scenting was great. Pet dogs love this nose work, can be done anywhere.
Even with a shower of rain didn't dampen his ability to find his scent.

Teaching dogs to be comfortable with vets from examination to being left there if needed is important.
Takes the stress out for the dog, you and the vet staff.
Simple things taught make a visit less of a chore.
Even if your dog is friendly for some vets trigger dramatic responses.

Mine love the vets, hop on the scales, and can be examined and tolerate treatments.

If you find training overwhelming as you have a long list of what you want/need to teach. Take a step back and take it one thing at a time.
Things link together so start small and then work up to big.

This morning a youngster that gets sooooo excited to see dogs and people.
An hour of training and now both dog and owner working together to find calm.
