We're delighted to be launching our rabbit hay at Bennetts Farm Shop next Saturday, 30th March, at their Easter event and launch of the new part of their shop! Online orders will follow in early April! 🐰

At our Easter event and 2nd birthday celebrations, we're delighted to be launching a whole new section, with hundreds more products!!! Be sure to join us for the launch, plus BBQ with superb local Chef and some great dishes, bar, raffle and for the children, Easter Farm Trail.

Entry is free, tickets to the Farm trail must be pre-booked (£2.50 per child, book on our website!)

🚜 Hay making 🚜

We make all of our hay on the fields of our farm in The Cotswolds.

We farm in a regenerative manner, meaning we work with not against the environment and soils. The hay is grown with no artificial inputs such as fertilisers and pesticides so you can purchase from us knowing you're doing your bit for the environment too.

You'll be able to buy our hay very soon!

🐇 Hay varieties 🐇

We pride ourselves on producing a top quality, sweet green product, perfect for rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals.

We currently offer two varieties;

🌿 Traditional meadow hay - this is a softer, finer and sweeter product than Timothy hay. This has lower protein and suits most animals that require an every day hay. As it's softer its also good for animals that have sensitive tummies, problems chewing or are older and need an easy to eat product. This hay also has a variety of naturally occuring herbs that are rich in vitamins and minerals.
🌿 Timothy blend - this is a slightly more coarse hay, but one that is higher in protein compared to more traditional hays, so is good for animals that need to gain condition and weight, lactating pets and younger pets that require something to help them grow.

Hello and welcome to The Cotswold Hay Barn 🐇

We provide a range of top quality, sweet, green hay specifically packed for rabbits, guinea pigs and small pets. It is all grown and made on our very own farm in The Cotswolds.

We will have a number of different hay varieties available to cater for different dietary requirements, as well as bedding straw and treats.

Hay and straw will be available in 2kg and 5kg boxes, posted straight to your door! We will be taking orders through social media very soon!
