🔎We have had a cream coloured, male neutered, cockapoo-type dog handed into our Leeds Road practice 🐶
He is safe and sound but we would love to reunite him with his family, please spread the word and help us find them! 🕵️‍♀️
📍He was found on Leeds Road near St George’s roundabout.

Today I am grateful NOT to be working in clinic. No not to enjoy the sunshine, but to be away from the devastation that heatstroke still causes despite multiple warnings. I am grateful not to be battling to save lives, and witnessing unnecessary deaths of wonderful dogs who would have quite happily missed a walk today.

To all my veterinary colleagues, I just hope you do not have to see too many tragedies today. Sending lots of love and healing as it’s part of our job which should no longer be part of our job and has a huge negative mental impact.

KEEP THOSE DOGS IN THE COOL, AT HOME!

About Me

Hi, as you have probably guessed my name is Laura, I love animals and have years of experience handling Dogs and Horses. I have 2 Labradors at the moment Poppy (10 yrs) & Darcy (11 months), they are so loving and loyal - I couldn't imagine life without them. My sister owns Bullmastiffs which I have helped her show at a high level including Crufts.

Previously I worked at a stable yard for many years and competed horses of my own for nearly 20 years until I fell pregnant with my first child. I have 2 children now Ella, nearly 7 and Harry, nearly 5.

It’s my pleasure to share my love of animals with everyone I meet, especially your pets!

My passion for animals and interest in serving others inspired my decision to become a professional dog walker & pet sitter. I founded Laura’s Paws in 2019 and have been providing Harrogate and the surrounding villages with loyal and loving pet services ever since.
