***NINA UPDATE***
NINA has been back to the vets today as she was not able to sit down on the floor properly and was showing distressed cries.
She had bloods run, and her kidney function was OK. She is awaiting a urine test to rule out any infection. She has had anti-inflammatory and antibiotics with more pain releif starting tomorrow as she is acting rather stiff in her gait.
She has actually put on some weight since being with us since Monday.
She is being closely monitored by our new kind fosterer HOLLI 🩷Let's hope the medication starts to make a difference to her.
If anyone has a spare, in good condition, unwanted cat stand, nothing too big for her, to donate, before we buy one, it would be very much appreciated for Nina 🐾🙏🩷
***UPDATE ON NINA***
THANK YOU to everyone who has offered to help NINA today after being dumped outside our back door earlier today. Thank you to HOLLIE & OLI for offering to foster her at short notice today.
NINA has come back in, not a good state. She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism on Friday and needs meds twice a day. Her weight has dropped considerably to 2.6 kgs, and she looks a frail thing and was ravenously hungry at the vets 🥺😪
Hopefully, she will start to improve once the meds start to bring down her thyroid levels, which are currently 230 and should be 30.
Fingers crossed, she starts to pick up 🙏

One of our own long-term older foster cats NINA has been DUMPED at our back gate with a letter pushed through our door. Not even got the guts to speak and hand her over personally with yet again NO WHERE for her to go !! 😡

Our latest arrival yesterday is beautiful LUNA, a 7 months old part grown black & white kitten. Very playful and friendly. She is fully vaccinated. Spayed and microchipped. She will be going to our vets for a health check and flea and wormer once settled, and then she will be available to adopt.

We received a message earlier, and the owner of the 2 frenchies has surrendered the one in a bad way into our care now ! ♥️
She has been taken straight to our vets and has started treatment for her malnutrition, currently weighing 9.4 kgs and awful skin condition. SUZIE is only 2 years 9 months old. The RSPCA have attended today, with 2 nice officers, but sadly, no further action is to be taken on the previous owner, as the dog has now been surrendered to us, and the court system has changed so much it is getting ever increasingly difficult to secure a prosecution.
The main thing is that she is safe and is now being treated by our vets. Thank you to Vet Becky at Alsager VetsforPets for all your care. We will get her right and find her the best home she deserves.🩷🐾

She was the mother cat of the 2 sets of kittens that we rescued from LAMB STREET KIDSGROVE, who had been allowed to have litter after litter all her life. Beautiful tabby girl DIAMOND has given birth to her kittens on Sunday. Mum & all 5 babies are doing very well. Laura, their fosterer, is loving having her 1st time mamma & babies. Well done all 🩷🙏
We took in this poor little 2 week old kitten last Thursday, that was found in a garden whilst someone was strimming 😱 in CROSS HEATH AREA. Luckily, JACKIE was able to offer to bottle feed him. Thank you Jackie 🙏♥️ So far, POVEY is doing well with his feeding.

This rehoming was a really great one for 18 years young girl LOTTIE 😻
We rehomed LOTTIE originally, but sadly, years later, LOTTIES owner had to go into permanent care. As per our conditions of adoption, our cats if unable to keep, must be returned to the rescue, luckily, Lotties owners friend was able to stay with Lottie and love and care for her, whilst we secured another permanent home, rehoming from home for the least disruption to LOTTIE 🩷🐾
She has gone to the most super cat loving home in the most idyllic country home setting, surrounded by beautiful countryside, to live the rest of her days out.
As you can see, she has already started to make herself well and truly at home! 🩷🐾
We would like to thank her new owner for giving an older cat a chance and home and wish you lots of love for the rest of her days 🩷🐾
***LAST NIGHTS MUM & REMAINING KITTEN UPDATE***
We have collected these beauties from the vets this afternoon. They still have quite alot of fleas slowly dying and falling off, both are very quiet and subdued after their terrible ordeal. Now safe with our wonderful fosterer DOREEN & we have managed to secure their next foster place up until rehoming with lovely LINDA one of our existing long-term fosterers.

‼️ WARNING - UPSETTING POST TONIGHTS EMERGENCY ‼️
We were called out to 2 kittens apparently found in a garden in the LEYLAND GREEN FEGG HAYES AREA, approx 7/8 weeks old, in a terrible state, one very lifeless covered in blood and fleas, then also mum appareared. All taken in by someone who said they couldn't get any help all day from anywhere.
Nothing would prepare us for what we walked into, the state of all 3, mum very emaciated, covered in fleas and blood, the black kitten, terrible state, covered in fleas and wet and a substance on theirs coats. 😭
We rushed straight down there, without anywhere to put the poor mites after any emergency treatment, but how could we say no to a case such as this.
Nothing ever prepares you for some of scenes we have to deal with ( picture of what we were presented with upon arrival)
The kitten in the most worse state, we thought had nearly died just before we got to the vets, only then to hear a faint murmur cry come out of its stone cold, wet, blood stained body 😭
All are currently receiving emergency care from the wondeful EMERGENCY NANTWICH PET VETS. We are here now waiting for an update.
