We had Mr Magic here at WLS HQ today, Richard Maxwell spend pretty much the whole afternoon with us and our lovely Irish Draughts stallions, what a real treat!

Unbroken & in foal to Carrigfada Grey Mist, Class 1 graded Irish Draught Stallion.
Sire - CORRINDON DANCER, Class 1 Gold Merit stallion, Winner and Res. Champion Stallion at RDS Dublin in 2022
Dam- TOUX ULA (Caerba Legacy) Class 1 Irish Draught mare - Female Youngstock Champion at the IDHSGB Championship Show 2 years consecutively. Then as a 4 year old under saddle she qualified for RIHS.
Maeve was unshown as a yearling but had 3 outings as a two year old.
New Forest and Hampshire County Show 2022 - 1st 1,2, 3 year old ID and Res. Champ ID Wincanton Show 2022 - 1st 1.2.3 year old and Irish Draught Breeding Champion. She also won the Hunter Youngstock Class and took the Championship of the section.
IDHSGB Championship Show 2022. Stood Champion Female and went on to take The Moorbenhall Irish Draught Youngstock Championship.
Maeve completed the year by going forward for grading whilst only 2 years old, coming home with her CLASS 1 status.
Maeve has already produced us a phenomenal filly foal & proved to be a brilliant mother, on both occasions she went in foal first time Via AI.
Very easy to do in every way.

Our Story............
Based in the essex countryside, White Lodge Stud is situated in the small village of Clavering, opened in 2019 by the owner Amy Seabon
Amy has spend over 30years with horses, ranging from classical dressage to Polo, her passion however has always been the Irish Draught & breeding.
Amy was given the opportunity in 2018 to buy and build her stud in Clavering essex where she grew up, after many years working in the city she decided to give it all up in pursuit of her dream.
White lodge stud is home to the beautiful stallion Carrigfada Grey Mist, or for those that know him personally “Conan”, formerly owned by Mr Bruce Thorpeley. Conan was purchased by Amy in late 2018 with the idea to carry on using him as a breeding stallion and also to pursue her showing career, Royal Windsor, Royal International & Horse of the year show are all penciled in the studs diary...... lets hope the qualifiers are kind & Conan doesn't take a fancy to all the pretty ladies........... updates on our page will keep you all informed if you wish to follow them..........
The stud is still very much a work in progress, but we have high hopes for it to be completed and open to the general public in the Autumn 2019, we will be hosting an open day, where the general public can come and see our fabulous new stud & see exactly our plans for the future & the future of the Irish Draught.
Our facilities will include 16 large monarch internal boxes, a 20x50 indoor arena, 6 block of external stables, a monarch under cover horse walker & lunge pen, 14 acres of fully stock fenced grazing, a small XC course and some of the most beautiful pampering facilities for the horses!
Amy has for many years now bought & sold some fabulous true to type Irish Draught horses, the 2018/19 hunting season proved a huge success, with over 15 big grey Irish draughts sold, her preference being Huntingfield rebel lines of course..... we hope that the 2019/2020 season is an equal success for her & she becomes renowned for her trade mark Draught Hunters.
The stud will also have a web page, we hope to go live in June, the web page will have all our up & coming events, horse sales, we will be adding the Bucas Rugs & accessories on there so clients can purchase these if they wish to do so. All pricing for the stallion AI services will also be added & whats better is we will be able to except all payments online through the webpage.
April brings us a very busy few weeks, with mares due to foal, our planning for the barns will come through, Cavan in Ireland will be hosting the Irish draught sales & Conan & Amy are training every day as they only have 5 weeks until Royal Windsor! I know first hand thats she very nervous! so all the support you can give her will be gratefully received!
