Two brilliant Embryo Transfer (ET) flushes from Andrew Polson, Polson Smerlie North Country Cheviots, Aberdeenshire, UK with 10 Smerlie donor ewes (gimmers/yearlings) and 2 stud rams yielded 29 (1st flush) + 44 (2nd flush) = 73 total frozen embryos

Semen from North Country Cheviot rams has been exported to the US for the first time in more than 30 years, to help strengthen the gene pool of the US flock.

We took 6 sheep to the show in Edinburgh and all 6 won rosettes! 🤩

The highlight was winning 1st and 2nd prize in the shearling ram class 🥇🥈

Our North Country Cheviot ewes started lambing this week and are producing real cuties😍

This breed of sheep is Farmer Andrew’s (My Dad’s) favourite and he even takes them to shows!
