Daphne has totally transformed, she just gets more and more beautiful, taking on a whole chocolate ombré look at the moment! She’s very much her mothers daughter, adores affection, kind and biddable and never far away if you’re in the field doing something.

Trying to photograph yearlings does bring the classic saying to mind 🤣.
These girls are so engaging and keen to be involved in anything and everything. They have such different characters but all guarantee to bring a smile to your face.

We have a new baby - a very special little one indeed!
Last weekend we welcomed our very first
Spanish Spotted Saddle Horse FILLY to the world! Born in the paddock on a sunny Sunday morning ☀️
Dam Napoli has done a fine job and seems very happy now she has her baby by her side after feeling somewhat left out.
This fillys sire is Houdini at little uncle - triple premium graded performance tested KNN Knabstrupper stallion.
That concludes our foaling for 2024 - huge sigh of relief that everyone arrived safely 💗

Lots of time in for mums and babes over the last few days due to the unsettled weather. A great opportunity for some extra handling, haltering, feet picking lots of love and scratches and grooming for our special mares.
Daphne is huge now!
Ocean is part zebra.

Our lovely PRE mare Napoli, looking very thoughtful before the weekend in her last days of pregnancy. Napoli joined the herd a little over two years ago now, she’s very loved by humans and horses alike here at Clahar Barton Farm. She doesn’t miss a trick and always likes to know what’s going on

Clahar - yet to be named! We will go with Blondie for now as this little lady is Buckskin but definitely looks like a little blondie at the moment. Her black mane and legs will develop in time.

PRE Fusion filly by Moonlight Venture and out of our PRE x Friesian mare Demelza, this filly is a full sibling to Savannah, 17 days old here and already so strong and beautiful.

Welcome to the world little lady!
Meet ‘Dark Moon’ stable name Bliss - out of Zennor and by Moonlight Venture. A striking, tall and very elegant smokey black filly born in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It was a busy night as Demelza also had her foal that night so more foal updates to come! Thankfully all well, both very bright up and feeding within their first hour 💗 clever girls

In the quiet hours of Sunday morning we had a special delivery from Clahar Rosenwyn aka Misty - our forth foal this year and first c**t after a run of 8 beautiful fillies. She was very quiet about her labour and just dropped down and popped him out! He took a minute to figure out what his long legs were for but once he was up he found the milk bar and was well away. They are perfect perfect 😍

This little man is 75% PRE and 25% Friesian
His sire is Mas Ural of Orchid Stud
