What is laser treatment?
Laser treatment also known as Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy occurs when a dose of light energy reaches target tissue and results in decreased inflammation, decreased pain, and accelerated healing. This modality effectively treats a wide variety of conditions including pre-surgical, post-surgical, acute, and chronic disease states including arthritis, IVDD and tendon/ligament injuries plus many more!
If you think your dog may benefit from physiotherapy and laser treatment please do not hesitate to contact us today!
We had a lovely day yesterday treating some gorgeous horses for there 6 monthly maintenance sessions... this is Oreo very relaxed during his treatment- such a sweetie 💕
Have a great long weekend everyone!
Lovely day treating some of my favourite doggies... this is Lucy who suffered a fibrocartaliage embolism aka a doggy stroke just over a year ago this making her unable to walk but with intense physio she is now doing great and has fortnightly maintenance sessions ♥️🐕
Here she is demonstrating a serpentine/figure of 8 with poles this keeps her nice a supple as she does hold alot of tension through her spinal muscles and it keeps her moving in ways she may not normally increasing body awareness! 💪
Ps. Excuse the camera skills as social distancing rules all filming must be done by myself 😂
⭐ Go Eddie ⭐ This was Eddie trying out the pole alternation sequence to encourage range of motion, body awareness and strengthen after his spinal surgery almost 6 months ago!
He has been having regular veterinary physiotherapy and hydrotherapy and has now moved onto monthly maintence sessions!
He has done fab considering 6 monthe ago he could not walk nor stand unassisted!
If your dog has recently had spinal surgery and you would like some more infomation please do not hesitate to get in touch or visit our website!

🐾 Cavaletti Pole Work 🐾
Today Poppy and I had some fun with cavaletti poles.
Pole work is a great way of strengthening, increasing range of motion, body awareness and core strength. I often prescribe pole work to clients for various conditions.
There are many different arrangements Poppy is demonstrating a low alternating sequence. Great for targeting both sides of the body- the video is slowed down to show how the knee and hip joints flex up and extend when stepping over the pole therefore helping to increase ROM.
If you have any questions or want some advice on exercises that would benefit your dog please do not hesitate to get in touch 👍
