UPDATE 7/4/24 - Lily is rehomed!

UPDATE 2/4/24 - Lily is reserved!

This is Lilly. She is a long haired tabby and white cat. She is 8 years old but, as you can see from the videos (in the comments), she has quite a lot of energy!

Lily is really friendly, loves to play, likes a cuddle and lots of affection. She is used to being indoors, so preferably an indoor only home. Lily's new home would need to be an adult only home, with no dogs and preferably no cats. (She has only been the only cat in her previous household so, we're not sure how she would be with other cats.)

If she sounds like the perfect cat for you, then please contact us on 01775 725661 ☎️ or email us at: [email protected] 📧. If you call us 📞 then you may need to leave a message but someone will get back to you. Please leave your name and phone number 📱slowly and clearly on the message. If you email 📧, then please leave a phone number 📱in case we need to call you. Thanks very much! 😺

UPDATE 30/3/24 - Her owner has been found.
FOUND: This tortoiseshell female cat was first seen on the 21st March 2024 in a garden in Station Street, Holbeach. But she has been the neighbourhood a bit longer.

The lady who found the cat 🐈‍⬛ has had her scanned for a microchip but sadly none was found. She is currently providing the cat shelter but may not be able to do so forever as her other cats don't get on with her.

If you think that this cat is yours, then please contact Ineta Smile on Facebook. Alternatively, you can contact us. Thank you very much! 😺

For our friends over in the USA 🇺🇸 it's National Respect your Cat Day.

If you want to help some of the campaigning we do here at Cats Protection such as; make microchipping compulsory for all cats across the UK 🇬🇧, making cat theft a specific offence and Purrfect Landlords - a scheme to help both tenants and landlords find the purrfect cat for their property/home then you can! (As well as a few others.)

You can find out more here: https://www.cats.org.uk/what-we-do/campaigning

DIRECT REHOMING: This is Teddy. He is 4 years, 7 months old (21st August 2019 was when he was born). He is a black cat. 🐈‍⬛ He is microchipped and neutered. He is a very loving boy but can be a little shy/nervous at times.

Teddy is used to living with children but from late in his current owners pregnancy, he's been getting stressed related cystitis and peeing in inappropriate areas and having behaviour issues. However, we/the current owner believe that if he was in a calmer home with older children or an adult only home then those issues will go away. (He loves to sleep with her 11 year old stepson. )

He's not had any experience with dogs before and his current owner believes that living with dogs may scare him. 🚫🐕 He used to going outside so a home with access to a garden would be beneficial. 🏡 Teddy also is overweight so the new owner would need to try to put him on a diet. He currently lives with cats, so he can go to a home with cats. ✅️🐈 He is very loving and he paws his current owner when she stops fussing him.

If Teddy sounds like the perfect cat for you then please contact Liz Elektra Brown on Facebook. Alternatively, you can contact us. Thank you very much! 😺

When eight-year-old Boots arrived at Bridgend Adoption Centre, they could never have guessed at first glance what they would discover when they took a closer look.

Boots’ full-body scan showed that she’d been cruelly shot with an air gun and had 14 pellets in her body. The pellets had narrowly missed her vital organs, spinal cord and brain. She’d been very lucky to survive. Thanks to the x-ray, the vet was able to safely remove as many of the pellets as possible, only leaving the ones that were too dangerous to operate on.

Every year, thousands of cats in our care (throughout the UK) need surgeries, either like the one Boots had, or for different kinds of injuries and health conditions. We are asking for support so we can look after the cats before, during and after their operations, staying prepared for anything we might find.

To help us look after cats like Boots, please help us raise our £250 target. You can donate to us at: http://www.cats.org.uk/appeal/spalding Thank you! 😺😽

Flowers for Mother's Day Advice 💐

Please be careful if you're buying the special woman in your life some flowers for Mothering Sunday. A lot of flowers can either severely upset cats' stomachs 🤢 or even worse. ☠🙀
