Puppy Blues is a thing!

You have a new puppy, you can't put them away to worry about later so you have a new stress (could be good or bad stress) but there are changes within the brain.

Puppy Blues can lead too:

Increased reactivity on your part, more likely to react to small issues, that you wouldn't normally react too.
You may feel more emotional, and wonder why you feel like crying.
You may start to second guess, and question each decision you make.
You may worry more than you normally would.
You may start to panic you're not doing enough with your puppy, or too much.
Other peoples advise may seem overwhelming to you.

Please note all of the above is normal, and it will pass.
Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to have downtime.
If you can look to have a routine where your puppy gets to be able to use some of their physical energy,\ (play) then their brain (train), then their nose (scatter feed) before encouraging them to rest, either with a chew or just in their bed. Then grab yourself a cuppa and enjoy the peace.

Its important to know that, for most people their intensions with their advice are well meaning, but there are so many variables within a breed/personality/temperament of a dog that unless you study dogs, the advice may not be suitable for your new puppy.

Google is mainly clickbait, big accounts come up with the search engines, but the articles are mainly written by non-experts and are click bait.

Find a good trainer, who uses kind reward based methods to train to support you through the first few months. Having someone who is consistent in their approach, who understands behaviour as well as training is very important.
