Talkinghorse was created by Catherine Walker in 2003 after she was persuaded to do animal communication readings to raise money to help towards the retraining of an abused horse. Catherine had been talking to animals since a child, but never talked about it as grown–ups couldn’t really understand! In 2003, she discovered that is was something pet owners found valuable and since then has talked to

thousands of animals, most of them horses. Catherine’s conversations with horses are enhanced as she is the proud holder of the Monty Roberts Preliminary Certificate of Horsemanship. She follows French Classical Dressage to ride and train her home–bred Thoroughbred Freyr, though her husband rides his ex–racer Western.
