For further details regarding adopting a dog from All Animals Rescue and Rehome please email [email protected] All animals rescue and re-homing is a non kill NOT FOR PROFIT rescue that will take any animal in need of rescue. All animals that come in will be fully vet checked, flead and wormed, neutered and microchipped, also every animal will be fully assesed in a home environmen

t. All potential adopters will be asked to complete a pre adoption form in order to establish suitability, and a minimum adoption fee applies, We are not for profit and all adoption fees are a contribution towards the running costs of the rescue. We are solely run by volunteers so please be patient while waiting for a response. All our animals leave with full rescue back up and support for life, in the event that you cannot keep one of our animals, we will take them back to safeguard their future. We do not charge owners to relinquish animals but ask for a donation towards their care while they are with us, this is not mandatory, but we rely on the good will of animals lovers to be fair and contribute. Everything in rescue costs money except our time which we gladly give, food, transport, assessments, vet bills, as well as day to day running costs all add up and that is why we rely on adoption fees and donations to continue, we have no regular funding, and no paid staff.

Wow what a year 2024 has been, the hardest in rescue for multiple reasons and as much as I hope it will get better in 2025…Im not sure rescues will get any respite…its already all systems go 🤦🏼‍♀️

So 2024 saw us offer rescue space to 144 dogs, some of these sadly were too neglected to save and needed to be freed from pain humanely, but the majority were adopted and are living the high life with all our wonderful adopters ❤️

We have rehomed 129 dogs this year, lost 7 of our sanctuary dogs due to old age and illnesses, and gained many more…sadly more and more dogs are not rehomable due to the their previous treatment or ongoing medical needs, they will live with us for the duration of their lives safe and loved ❤️

We have had some amazing support this last year and I thank each and every one of you for your ongoing support, this is a huge team effort and we couldn’t do it without you, so thank you!

Whatever you are doing tonight, enjoy it, we will be tucked up on the sofa surrounded by dogs and watching TV.

We look forward to 2025 with you all, and let’s hope lf nothing else, it’s kinder on us all 🥹

Happy New Year you lovely lot - see you on the other side ###

On Sunday the most gorgeous girl Nana was collected by Elly and taken on a home trial, I didn’t say goodbye, I was still heartbroken from loosing Jasper the day before and if this wasn’t already arranged I don’t think I could of let her go, she really is a nana in every way, always right beside me nudging me forward and making me carry on, she has the biggest heart and I absolutely adore her ❤️

As you can see from the pictures, she is home and I couldn’t be happier for her, it’s hard sometimes in rescue, especially when you are grieving, but we always have to put the dogs needs first and she so deserves this home, she is so settled and dotes on her new dad. The sad she looks at him just makes my heart leap with joy, I know she is happy and so very loved, I miss her like mad, I love her so so much, but I can’t deny her her happy ever after…she goes to bed with her new dad, and has her very own sofa 😘

Nana, it’s been such a pleasure having you with us, and I will love you from afar forever, and hopefully will have you for holidays - go live your bestest best life big girl, you are so loved by so many ❤️

We are closed until 2nd January, but as always…there are exceptions 🤣

Today Socks joined us from the pound, she was a welfare case and desperately needed someone to throw her a lifeline ❤️

Thanks to transporter Nick for giving up his New Year’s Eve to transport her to us to get her safe…she has been cat tested, joined us on a pack walk and has now gone off to her foster home who, providing she fits in will adopt her 👌

Socks, you are one lucky little lady and dog 144 to have been saved this year - Happy New Year to
You - 2025 is going to be amazing 💕

And just like that…the last pack walk of 2024 is done…👌

For those of you that remember Peaches that joined us just before Christmas in quite a neglected state…she was adopted today ❤️

Technically we are closed until 2nd January but as she was at kennels they dealt with the meet and greet and she went to a fantastic new home today where I think she will rule the roost and be the diva that all Chows are born to be💕

She is a very lucky little girl indeed, her adopters met her purely by chance when they were at the vets with their own dog who sadly passed away 2 days later. They had always wanted a chow and when they realised this little beauty needed a home it was obviously fate - be good gorgeous little girl, thanks to aunty Jo for looking after you so well while you stayed with her 👌

Erin…still waiting for her forever home 💕

Hi Sarah,
It’s been over a year since we’ve had Dolly now and wanted to share some pictures. She’s settled in amazingly well and is so far from the quiet timid girl we first met.
She likes a bark now, and to cuddle and especially loves a belly rub and spends a lot of time lying on her back waiting for you to give her one. She is fully part of the doggy gang and loves hanging with her fur sibling - and our new kitty who she found absolutely fascinating when he arrived as a kitten.

This morning my heart was shattered again as the pack lost another absolute Legend - Jasper 💔

Jasper joined us along with Ted in 2021 when his owner died and the police took them to kennels. Being such huge dogs, we went to meet and assess them at the kennels and Martin
Made it really clear Jasper was not coming home with us as he barked and lunged in kennels and was quite an intimidating lad. Ted came home with us that day and 2 days later Jasper joined us, and I cannot imagine life without the big dipstick ❤️

Jasper was a gentle giant but he loved to bark and lunge at people to play with him - this intimidated many and lots were initially scared of the big dope but learnt to love him 🤣

Jasper turned 10 in November this year which is a grand old age for an English Mastiff, and he was fit as a fiddle only his grey frosty face betrayed his old age ❤️

Last night we snuggled up on the sofa and his snores rocked the house and we were laughing that his paws were bigger than my hands, we went to bed normally and there was nothing to suggest anything was wrong. This morning we got up and he had been sick and was seeing himself, he had terrible breathing and I knew he wasn’t coming home 😢 he was rushed to our vets and it was confirmed he had heart failure, it took over an hour to even raise a vein to be able to let him go to sleep 😭

Jasper showed no signs of being unwell, he was he usual self up until he couldn’t hide it anymore. I am beyond gutted, I loved this big hunk so much and can’t imagine a life without his fat arse trying to sit on my Shoulder 🤣

Goodnight Jasper, I love you so very much but you are with the best of the gang now and all the O.G’s will be welcoming you at the bridge 🌈

My heart is broken, I miss you so much 😢
