I love spending time with dogs and looking after them in my home when their owners are away, either for the day or overnight stays.

A bit of a chilly walk this morning with Ralph. The bird in the bush that startled him flew off a few minutes later and it was a beautiful heron.

Ralph does like cuddles!! He thinks he can fit in anywhere too, just like his cousin Rocco - the lovely boxer we had stay for Christmas. ❤️

Ralph is a beautiful Weimaraner who is back for a holiday with me whilst his owner's away. We had a squelch around the field, starting with a good sniff into the wind (video in the comments)! He had some zoomies too, which was a bit muddy 😆😆😆.

Rocco enjoying his morning walk on the long lead. Yesterday there were some young kids playing on the basketball court and he was desperate to join in, crying and jumping around. I wonder if he is missing the children in his own family? ❤️❤️❤️

Rocco is waiting for Santa!! He’s such a lovely boy, even when he pinches my seat - he has a very comfortable bed of his own to lie in. ❤️❤️❤️

This is Rocco who is a fabulous, bouncy boxer visiting for Christmas. He’s like an early Christmas present! He’s great fun, and does love a cuddle although he isn’t always aware of his size when he tries to squeeze in next to me on the armchair! ❤️

I’ve had these three lovely boys for their first visit today. They are very cute ☺️. The younger two like to forge ahead, and the older one is almost 12 so prefers to go at a gentler pace, but still going well!

This is lovely Darcy who is staying for a little holiday whilst her parents are also on a little holiday. She is a very sweet little cockapoo who loves cuddles! ❤️❤️❤️

Skye does like her comforts ❤️. Horrible weather today so we hadn’t been out for a walk, but around 5pm we seemed to be in the eye of the storm so the wind had dropped and the rain had stopped. This was how she was lying when I asked if she wanted to go out😆. I was surprised that she did want to go and we had a nice walk looking at the Christmas lights.

Skye is back for another visit. She is a sweet older girl who loves her sniffy walks. She can be a bit worried by other dogs but was great with the three we met today, no signs of anxiety at all and no barking or hackles, just a friendly calm hello. This included meeting with the most beautiful 12 week old cocker spaniel who was incredibly cute! ❤️

Last day with lovely Lexi. She is a very sweet girl. She loves a good sniff on her walks and a bit of a run on the long lead. She’s a bit timid with other dogs but her confidence has grown during her visit as we have had a few calm greetings with other friendly dogs every day whilst in the park. ❤️❤️❤️

Lexi is fascinated with shadows. She is looking at her own shadow here waiting for it to move. She was doing this for about 10 minutes, getting very excited and wagging her tail every time the shadow moved!! 🤣🤣🤣
