Hey guys. A young (2-3 yo), black, domestic shorthair pusscat has been brought in to the surgery found in the CR7 area. He’s in good shape, still got his 🥜 nuts and no microchip. Any info/help would be awesome - trying to get him back to his people.

A sad one I’m sorry everyone. 😔 A very cute young entire male puss cat has been kindly brought in to us. Tragically he was found passed away at the Upper Selsdon Rd end of Selsdon Rd early this morning. He has lovely tabby markings but mostly white and medium length coat. No microchip. Please give us a call if you can help.

Sad post:

An old cat was found sadly passed away near the corner of Ballards Rise and Croham Valley Road - she doesn’t have a microchip but was wearing an old pink, diamond studded collar, and looks to be quite elderly and a lovely dark ginger colour.

Are you looking for ongoing veterinary work?

We are looking for an experienced vet to join our independent small animal practice on an ongoing basis - this might be as a permanent staff member or locum and could be a part-time or a full time position…we are flexible in what we can offer. Elmfield Vets have a great staff team and a caseload full of variety….…we have all the usual mod cons, no after-hours or Sundays, two experienced vets at hand to always provide help and support.

The clinic has ample free parking, is close to the train station and just a short train journey to central London.

For a permanent position - negotiable generous salary depending on experience.
Hours are 9-6 Monday -Friday
Saturdays 9-11 and time given off during the week when on Saturday rota.

Purley food hub update:

Food for just under 4,000 meals was provided by the Food Hub to 443 clients and family members during October, the most in a single month since January.

October’s 3,987 meals took to more than 10,000 the total delivered in the last three months, and past 31,500 meals overall so far this year - with the busy months of November and December still to come.
