💝 CHARITY COLLECTION 2023 💝

This year the Ashview Dog Grooming charity collection for Christmas is happening a bit earlier than normal!

The organization I have teamed up with is the fantastic Serve Youth and Faith in action 💝

I gave you all the hint that it had to travel to its destination, and that destination is.... Ukraine 🇺🇦.

This year, I hope you will all help me by picking up an extra shower gel, or hand cream on your shop, to help a family in war-torn Ukraine. If you are an avid knitter and want to make scarves or hats that would be amazing too! Or if you are like me, you'll pick up some in the shop! 🙈

🚗 I also will be offering a collection service to those who don't have time to get to the salon to drop items off, see the wee info pic for the rest of the details 🚗

You all did an amazing job last year with the food donations, I know you can do it all again 💜

You all did so well last year, I have decided to run another item based charity drive this year 💜 more details to come later, but a hint is that the items need to travel to get to those who need them.... ✈️ hence why I'm announcing it early to prepare you all 💕

Unknown to most of my lovely clients, I have a great interest in mental health and psychology. Today I have officially become a Mental Health First Aider, meaning I am now fully trained to help anyone having a mental health crisis ❤️ some of this training includes eating disorders, psychosis, depression, anxiety and those who want to harm themselves. The training was incredibly intense for only being 12hrs long but all of my skills have been put to the test and I have passed with 100% marks 🎊 I intend to do more studying in this subject, but my doggy clients will always have a spot so fear not ❤️

** IMPORTANT BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENT **

To say that I am disappointed to have to make this announcement would be quite the understatement.

After recent events from clients, there will be two new conditions put in place at Ashview:

1. Late Collection Fees
2. Zero tolerance to threatening, physical or intimidating behaviour in person or via text.

❓ What does this mean:

1. If you are 15 minutes late dropping your dog off, without cause or contacting me, your appointment will be immediately cancelled. You will be charged half of what the groom would have cost.

If you are more than 10 minutes late collecting your dog after being given notice of their pick up time, you will be charged a new daycare fee. This is due to people abusing my time and leaving their dogs with me for extended, unacceptable amounts of time. I have the right to waive this fee should I choose to, however I will be firm with this new rule.

2. I really shouldn't have to explain this, but if you threaten and/or intimidate me, in any form, physical, verbally, or via text you will be permanently discontinued as a client. Should I have to phone the police, I will. You are coming to my own business and my home. Please respect it and myself. I understand people have bad days, but just because you are in the wrong or I have had to shave your dog does not give you the right to abuse me in any way. If a complaint is valid, I will of course correct it, however if the complaint is completely invalid then you will be told so in the nicest way possible. For example, if you want your dogs nails cut and they are already perfectly short, I will not cut them as this will cause bleeding. I did not refuse to cut them because I wanted to anger you.

There will be a mass text with this information going out to all clients so everyone has the opportunity to read this and take note of it. If you do not agree to these new rules you will be released from my care and given the opportunity to find a new dog groomer.

Please do better guys, the past few days have really made it hard to enjoy my job, and this job is my wee heart and soul 💔

The Ashview Dog Grooming Christmas Charity of 2023 is Serve Youth and Faith in Action. I have teamed up with them to send much needed items to people in Ukraine who are suffering because of the war. Kiss and cuddle cam from Junos pamper day 💕 she’s so much happier in the salon now than when she first started with me, so proud of how far she’s come 🥰

Don't mind little Oscar being an absolute STAR! ✨ He has never been groomed before so his mummy thought it would be a good idea to get him used to it at a young age which is the best thing to do! 💕 He said perfectly through my training for grooming puppies and just look how un-bothered he is by the dryer 🎉✨ He was far more interested at what I had in my treat pouch than what was going on 😂😋🍗
