We are so sad to say that Archie has passed away. Our hearts and thoughts go out to Lisa and her family.

Archie Brown had been with us for around a decade, most of his life, and was beloved by his walkers.
He was a lovely lad that had just the right amount of cheek, and was not shy to solicit fuss from any passerby that happened to say hello to him.
As he got older and his legs couldn't carry him as far or as fast, he still loved going out for his walks, - even if it was more of a saunter, to take in all the smells and to greet other dogs and their walkers.
He will be greatly missed, by his family, by us, and by all the people he met along the way. (Eydis)

It is with such sadness that we have to announce the passing of Monty. He has been with us for a number of years and many of our walkers have met him at some time. Becky has recently been his main career and has said he was a little beauty and will miss him dearly. Thank you to Monty's dedicated owner for letting us all get to know him.

Thank you everybody for your support and help in trying to find him a new home, it’s been a worrying, stressful time, as it is is for many people up and down the country!

Time is running out for Robbie!

Robbie has just 4 DAYS LEFT, to find a home and be saved, as after 31st Dec we won’t be able to rehome him, due to the law on XL Bullies.

- 2-3yrs old.
- Castrated Male
- vaccinated & microchipped.
- 21” to the withers approx
- 35KG approx.
- Muzzle trained.
- Very friendly/cuddly.. but can be shy with new people initially.
- Never shown people aggression
- Children 10yrs +
- Not well socialised with dogs, would be better as the only dog (potentially could live with a large female)
- Not cat/small animal friendly.
- Strong to walk, but harness and halti trained.
- Some separation anxiety, but has been crated before.

We are trying desperately to save this boy! Please share far and wide! Advice will be given to any potential adopters, and the charity will cover the exemption fee… but he will also need to be insured etc.

Due to the weather forecast tomorrow and pending days, your walker may shorten your dogs walk or change times. Any walks will be made in the shade and dogs will be kept calm and not exercised in heat. Home visits may be made where appropriate and on request.

New Dog Walking Prices:
30 mins £8
45 mins £10
1 hour £12
£2 extra for each additional dog same household
£2 extra for requested lone walks.
We no longer offer comfort breaks but any client still receiving the old service it will rise to £6.
These prices will fall in line with any walkers who provide private walks away from us and still remain extremely competitive.

Having passed my first grooming exam last week 🥳 I have my second tomorrow. I am then taking a break from the 18th of April until the 1st of May.

I will then fingers crossed 🤞be taking appointments as a certified professional dog groomer. I'm so excited to start building a regular client base and taking care of your fur babies.

Due to the weather conditions, your walker will be contacting you regarding possible cancellation of walks tomorrow. If most walkers cancel we will be unable to offer cover. We are very sorry for an inconvenience caused. We have said we shall assess the situation in the morning.

Many don't know this information! Remember every second matters during a choking incident.
1. Place the dog on their back. Brace the back against the floor. Straddle the dog while adjusting yourself based on the size of the dog. Position the head in “in-line position” with the airway parallel to the floor.
2. Make an open diamond shape with your hands. Place your thumbs on either side of the trachea below the ball or object. Grip the “V” of the jaw using lip/cheek to protect fingers.
3. Push with a J-stroke down and out against the ball until it ejects from the mouth.
Both this method and the Heimlich method has been proven to work in these scenarios so don't hesitate to save your dog.
