Lead The Way - Dog Walking Service I offer fun filled group walks, perfect for your dogs to burn loads of energy, and most importantly learn how to socialise around dogs

I absolutely love dogs, and as a dog owner you will know that there is nothing quite like the joy and happiness they bring and that they are an important member of your family. Your dogs happiness will be very important to you and exercise is a very powerful way to keep your dog happy and stress free. It is inevitable though that work, family and social activities mean that you cannot always be ar

ound to take your dog on a walk, so this is where I come in. In the latter half of my Animal Care course at college, it unleashed a passion in myself and to focus my career around dogs, which is a dream job to me, so here I am with Lead The Way! Rest assured that dogs in my care will receive the very best of care and attention, and they shall be provided with the physical and mental stimulation they need when on walks with myself. I understand that all dogs are different and have different exercise requirements, so I would arrange a consultation with you and your dog to ensure the correct care plan is in place. At Lead The Way I offer professional fully insured private walks for those dogs who prefer their own company and group walks for those dogs who love making new canine friends. I also offer pet visits/toilet breaks up to half hour and pet sitting. Group dog walks up to 3 dogs - £9 per dog £5 additional dog from the same household (future walks will be up to 6 dogs)

Private walks - £10 ( limited private walks available )

Toilet breaks for puppies or senior dogs £5. I could also use these visits for administering medication

Pet daily visits 2 x 30 mins visits - £10
These visits could include the feeding of pets, administering medication, litter tray cleaning and lots of play time and TLC. Pet sitting/house sitting available - Prices to be agreed upon. For those dogs and cats who are at their most content in their own home but hate being left alone

This teeny tiny cute little dude Eddie has walked with us for a good few months now.

He started off walking with mostly small woofers so he could get used to walking with a pack of dogs, then started walking with a mix of small and big dogs. As it's important for small dogs to be socialised with bigger dogs, as there are sooooo many small dogs going around that have not been adequately socialised with bigger dogs which leads to them being anxiously aggressive towards bigger dogs.

Anyway he told me this week that he wanted to be a big dog for the day like he friends George and Yogi. I said no worries little man, I'll make you bigger than them for the afternoon....

What an horrific day it's been, it's looking like it may be the same tomorrow but easing off around lunch time. To make matters worse however - I've come down awful flu type symptoms as the day has gone on. Been feeling something coming on for a couple of days now.
I'm hoping by tomorrow morning I'll feel well enough to head out on walks, but will keep you all updated. I hate taking time off, but sometimes you just have to listen to your body. Thanks everyone for your understanding 🙏

No walks this morning folks and most likely for the rest of the day unless it eases up, conditions out there are horrendous - more so for driving the dog van around in those conditions I deem not safe or wise!
