Hi everyone!

For those of you who don't know me I’m Louisa, a small animal vet from Lancashire.

I qualified with honours from the University of Nottingham in 2013 and have worked in small animal general practice ever since.

Over the last 10 years I have volunteered in Chang Mai, Rajasthan and Namibia at the FAE (Friends of the Asian Elephant), TOLFA (Tree of life for animals) and N/a'an ku wildlife sanctuary. Volunteer work is always very humbling and rewarding and I look forward to planning more.

I have a passion for internal medicine and undertook my advanced qualifications in small animal medicine 3 years ago. I now have my advanced practitioner status which means I can provide even better care to my patients.

My other passion is teaching . I love mentoring and spending time with vet students or newly qualified vets because I remember how excitingly daunting it once was for me. I love sharing knowledge, learning with others and learning from them.

I love being a vet and I want to share my passion for this profession to as many of you as possible. I want you to meet my patients and read my cases so you can see what life as a general practitioner veterinarian is like - the good the bad and the ugly!!
