Head to northeast Wyoming for a real-life ranch experience at this Italian-American working ranch. Guests join in with the working routine which includes activities like cattle roundups, roping, branding, checking on calves, cattle drives, checking fences, bringing the horses into the corrals, or simply hanging out at the Old West style saloon.

There is a very relaxed atmosphere and guests can do as much or as little riding as they want. The hosts are extremely welcoming and one day each week they take guests to see local sights such as the mysterious Devil's Tower as well as local rodeos. Guests are not considered a tourist at this ranch, but a friends.

This trail follows the stunning coast of Costa Brava, combining steep cliffs, hidden coves, beaches and wetlands teeming with wildlife. Experience canyons, unique 'table’ mountains and volcanoes typical of this Mediterranean region while riding through the National Parks. The snow-capped Pyrenees provide a stunning backdrop, enriching the journey from bay to bay.

This 10 day trail through the Eastern regions of Colombia takes you from the town of Oiba to colonial Barichara, passing through colonial towns, villages, coffee and sugar cane plantations, waterfalls and canyons. You'll follow along the famous cobblestone paths of the ‘Camino Real’ (Royal Road), stopping to swim in natural pools and and waterfalls before reaching the hilltop colonial town of Barichara.

Accommodation is provided in authentic, local haciendas and small hotels. This trail is off the beaten path and is suitable for adventurous riders, interested in discovering more of Colombia's fascinating history and admiring the country's incredible scenery.

"The whole experience and meeting the team was fabulous.
As someone who is a big of a cowgirl and hasn’t taken schooling lessons regularly for years I felt supported and encouraged for my own goals. The horses were amazing and the ride outs were such fun. Unicorn Trails was created to hand pick a selection of the best horse riding holidays around the world, chosen by expert Travel Advisors who are on hand to help select your next adventure! Unicorn Trails was started in 1998 by Wendy Hofstee, a veterinary surgeon, traveller and horse lover. In her travels around the world, first with a backpack and later on horseback, she met many wonderful and knowledgeable horse men and women. They all had some unique knowledge of horses to share and incredible places to ride in. However there was also ignorance about horse care and poverty resulting in neglect of horses and bad riding holidays. There was obviously a need to select the best and share this knowledge more widely. Today, Unicorn Trails puts thousands of people into contact with different cultures, all sharing the common language of horsemanship. Unicorn Trails offers access to an extensive knowledge base of horse riding all over the world which is continuously being updated and extended and guarantees a knowledgeable service, happy horses in good health, small groups of riders and unspoiled natural environments.
