These two lovely dogs are a bonded pair that came into our care because of personal reasons – they were very loved where they came from and it was a devasting decision for their previous owner, who had them since puppies.
Since being in our care the pair have settled very easily into their new foster families life, settling down with the resident humans, dogs and cat with no issues.
It’s very much evident they will need to be homed together – although not completely reliant on each other (they are confident happy dogs) but they do share a strong friendship, and will sleep together and are often cuddled up with each other.
Penny is the more Spaniel of the two out on walks, she loves running around sniffing and snuffing, she is in the thick of things with the bigger dogs she is in foster with are playing she is right in the middle of them all loving life. She also is the one who loves walking around with something in her mouth usually a shoe she does not destroy them just a bit of Spaniel thing.
D***s is different to Penny he is not into all the rough and tumble although he plays with her but not so keen to join the rough games in the garden with the others, he loves he walks and running around but will spend more time by your side than Penny. He is very loving and will gently give you a paw to continue to stroking him.
Both these dogs love love and will happily sit for however long you have got stroking and talking to them. They sleep well at night in a crate together.
So easy to live with, a lovely walk and then if you were a home worker they would happily sleep while you work. They have been left for a few hours.
Penny & D***s really are lovely little souls, I know we were struggle to find them the right home because they need a home together but I think it would break their hearts to split them and ours to do it them.
They have been loved all their life and it shows.
We have so many pictures and videos of them so have included a few at the bottom of this write up so you can see how lovely they are in different situations and how easy they are to love.
Both dogs are now neutered, started their vaccination course, been chipped, flea/wormed – if you think you are that match for them please email us at [email protected] for our questionnaire in the first instance
