So today has been a really lovely day. Jim and I took Bridget to meet a little boy who had not had a great experience with dogs. He is fortunate to be able to work with such amazing professionals in the NHS.

So we had to take Bridget out to the pub for a late lunch after all her hard work this morning.

We're so proud of Bridget today. She spent two hours helping in an NHS project to help a young person overcome their phobia of dogs after previous bad experiences. Our part in their journey was to keep her focused and on her bed while the young person could work on feeling more comfortable about being in the same room as a dog. She was an absolute star. It was so wonderful to see the young person go from an anxiety level of 7 out of 10 to eventually 3.5, and to be able to move from being far away from Bridget to being quite close to her.
