ATTENTION CUSTOMERS

as many of you will know, from this month I am transitioning into a 4 day week. If you are booked in on a Wednesday that is fine for now, but future booking on a Wednesday will no longer be available.

There’s a few reasons for this move, mainly for my own health and well-being but also to explore new horizons, build some other businesses and walk down some other paths that life has to offer. I have no intention to stop shoeing any time soon and this will hopefully allow me to for a much longer time period.

Sadly to reach this point, I am going to have to reduce the work I currently have. Starting with the clients who are furthest away from home, some of those clients are the ones I’ve had from day one and you are all very appreciated. But this is a health choice and a business choice. Whilst I don’t want to increase prices again, I still have to battle with turnover and profits. The best solution for the current economic climate is to reduce bills. Fuel is undoubtedly one of my biggest and this will hopefully reduce that.

I won’t leave any of you in the lurch, I will help find alternative farriers and will cover for you in emergencies where I can. Again I’m sorry to do this but sometimes I have to put myself first. As always, peace and love to you all, any questions please just message me. All the best. Waz x

ATTENTION CUSTOMERS!

If you are due in the next few days i am afraid I’m going to have to cancel you until further notice. I have picked up a virus and try as I might to battle through it the last few days, I don’t see myself getting any better unless I take some time off and rest. I appreciate this is a big inconvenience and I’m sorry for that, rest assured picking up the pieces from this is much more stress and an inconvenience for me than it is for you. If you are on a yard or know of other farriers, please do your best to chat them up and get them to shoe for you. I am covering hayleys work as well currently so there is a nice back log already. Anything you can do to take some pressure off is greatly appreciated. I’ll reply to people where I can but currently can’t look at a phone screen without wanting to vomit. Sorry again for those that this will affect. I’ll be back at it as soon as I can! Love to you all. Waz

Good morning all, I hope everyone is out and enjoying the recent sunshine. Just to let everyone know that this Wednesday I am having to go for an operation. This is going to put me out for the rest of the week but I hope to be back the week after. I will still be responding to people so if there are any emergencies please contact me and I shall find you cover. I will be in contact if there is a doubt of me making appointments that are booked in. But unless you hear from me don’t panic about it! Peace and love to you all as usual x

I’ll lead with a picture of my pup as it’ll hopefully help soften the blow!! As most of you are now aware as of next month there shall be a price increase. I’m sorry to have to do it, but as with everything else, the cost of running the business has become increasingly more expensive over the last few years.

Basic set will now got to £90 up £5. New clients will now be at £100 a set to make up the real difference in business costs
£65 for fronts with trimmed hinds
£50 for just fronts
£30 a trim.

All added extras like pads, pins or bar shoes are still the same price as normal. I appreciate this will be tough on some and I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused. If you have any issues or queries with it please get in touch, if you would like to find an alternative farrier again i completely understand. Love and peace to you all, and thank you for your continued custom. You’re all very appreciated!

So the service up in the Welsh mountains was more prehistoric than I thought, I’m not complaining, it’s meant my phone has been completely silent most of the week. But it does mean now I’m getting signal again that about 100 messages have come through. Bear with me, I see them, gimme a day or two!

I have cover whilst I’m away so if you have any emergencies, you can get hold of me and I’ll sort someone to come and fix it. Or just make your own arrangements!
