This is Sammy, he’s 7 years old. He was a sad surrender as his family returned to Greece and he was left with his Dad who works full time.

Sammy is an excellent companion in his foster home but he gets extremely anxious on walks and is fearful of traffic and is increasingly reactive to anything that moves or makes a noise. He needs a home ideally with plenty of space outside and quiet walks with few distractions.

7 year old Rex is looking for a child free and pet free home only. No visiting children. He loves to play and go for walks and is very lovable and full of beans as you can see. Here’s some information from his fosterer…

Rex is a loving, playful and chilled boy who loves to be near you at all times. He sits and gives you his paws for treats. He’s great when walking on his lead and good at recall when there’s no other dogs or people around, but he’s very nervous when there’s children around, (he’ll bark , pull & jump and doesn’t like them visiting the home. He’s good with adults and other dogs.

He’s not destroyed anything in the home, and I’ve left him unattended with treats and toys. He’s been good in the car to the park (10 minutes). He’s happy to sleep in his bed on the landing but loves to share yours too.

2yr old Bailey is looking for an experienced home. He’d be ok with older children, possibly a resident bitch but no cats. He has been short of enough exercise and stimulation so he’ll love walks, runs out and to build on his basics. He will need to learn some boundaries and establish trust that his new people will give him the attention he craves. Bailey is very affectionate and a very handsome chap. 8 year old Tyson came into our care because his owners didn't have time to give him the attention and exercise he needs.

He is a great companion, very affectionate and loves spending time with his people. He is going to need owners who are at home a lot! He’s developed separation anxiety after being left for long periods lately. With some perseverance this can be slowly overcome. On walks he will lunge and he’s not keen on small dogs coming up to him but again, with some patience this can be managed.

1 year old Freddie has come into our care because his owners couldn't give him the exercise and stimulation he needs as a young, active boxer.

He is a happy lad and very friendly and loving with people but he hasn't been socialised with other dogs and is very reactive towards them. Because of this he needs a pet-free forever home. He walks well on the lead and has great potential but would benefit from some refresher basic training to help him grow into a fine adult boxer.

1 year old Colbie is a typical boisterous lad who needs a firm owner to work on the basics of lead walking and recall while he is still young. He would be perfect for taking to training classes.

He’s extremely playful with other dogs but is big and strong and doesn’t know his own strength. For this reason we would like him to be the only pet so that his attention is focused on his training, however a confident resident dog and an owner who can manage overzealous play would also benefit Colbie and develop his socialisation skills.

The handsome Ollie! He’s 3 and was surrendered to BDRNE after regular disagreements with the other resident dog probably due to their under feeding. He has steadily gained weight and has been recently neutered.
