So... Angel doesn't do stairs. 🤣🤦♀️
She's landed ❤️❤️❤️
Oh Angel, you have no idea how lucky you are to be alive.
Oh how I've missed that sound and smell...
That's the mum and pups sorted for the night!
I've not managed to have a meal in two days, so we're off to find some food! 😆😴
I am incredibly pleased to be announcing this to you all.
After MONTHS of trying to find Stevie a new human, we have finally found her one!
She will be going to her new human hopefully next week if all goes well.
She has certainly been a challenge that's for sure but we are so glad we were able to help her on her journey!
I highly doubt she would be alive right now if we didn't pick her up!
This will then bring the total of dogs under us left to find new humans for down to only 5!
Once these beautiful furry babies have found their perfect new humans too then we will be back to taking dogs under us like normal.
Until then, we are only doing emergency intakes (this doesn't effect other animals unless otherwise stated) as i do not want to go over what we can ethically cope with financially and physically if they bounce or come with a large bill attached!
On the plus side... can you all remember Angel?
Angel is the turkish dog we found bleeding out in a field.
After months of rehabilitation and the first week rescued spent hooked up in a veterinary centre, she is FINALLY one very happy playful little girl.
She will be with us personally this month.
Angel is looking for a new human.
This was sorted but a few things cropped up so we will be looking for a different placement for her.
She is our responsibility and we will be a responsible rescue in the fact that she will ALWAYS have RBU under us - even if Cornpop no longer exists.
(We will take her back no matter how many years it is down the line if things change)
Angel is lucky to be alive, her brother unfortunately wasn't so lucky and she is very special to us because of this.
She is a young bouncy pup with a lot of love to give.
She is a working breed so will need an active home with no young children.
She has been raised with livestock due to her breed (livestock guardian) so she should be a great protector.
We will of course check this prior with our own animals.
She is VERY socialised with other dogs due to where she is currently at as seen in the video so will be fine with all - big or small.
Any resident dogs however must be neutered/spay.
Angel is spay, chipped, vaccinated and screened for any viruses or diseases.
She has had a full health assessment and has no further health issues.
Any further questions, please pop us a message and ask.
We want what is best for this girl so it must be the correct place for her.
She is such a sweetheart.
Even when she was paralysed from the neck downwards with no clue to who we were and internally bleeding out whilst we carried her for miles whilst she was in a serious amount of pain, we still didn't get even so much as a grumble out of her.
She is an amazing girl.
This is a video i saved a few years back now to use as a demonstration.
If you have even an ounce of care for animals, please think about silent fireworks for tomorrow etc and don't put them through this.
Just because you cannot see any animals suffering and dying through sheer panic doesn't mean there isn't any.
They do not understand and go through pure fear for your few moments of happiness.
You don't have to have none but PLEASE use silent.
So many lives are lost every year.
It also effects people with PTSD, people with learning difficulties and wildlife aswell as domesticated animals.
Please don't be the reason they suffer.
On their way to their new placement.
This girl is so terrified she sat trembling.
When i transferred her from the carrier to this crate, she quite literally peed herself.
I have never seen such a frightened cat.
She attacked him multiple times when he tried to catch her but she's lovely towards me, just very scared.
I really love my amphibians so i just wanted to show you all one of my favourite species.
This little chap is a bumblebee toad, a very underrated species that isn't seen very much.
He's under an inch long and a very fascinating little guy.
He's in a fully bioactive setup like nearly all of our amphibians so it is really interesting to have such a little eco system going.
I could watch them all day!
It's 1am and I'm seriously loving my life right now... how can i not when this is my view?!!
This was around half hour after they arrived.
First hissing and lunging at me... then this 😆
My nighttime routine... every damn night now! 🤣
Piggy and Susie will wait at the door for a treat before i go to bed.
How much better does Susie look??
I'm unsure if any of you remember her!
She's the elderly pug who was immediately admitted to the emergency vets where she stayed for a little while and almost lost her life.
