An extremely sad day for the UK Trade and ELOS The Aquarium Company family & of course all of Peter's friends and family.

Peter was the founder of Elos Aquarium UK and as a result so many people in the reefing community worldwide will have been graced with his time, presence and knowledge over the years. He was exceptional gentleman as AAC have so eloquently put it.

We thank Peter for everything, this enthusiasm, knowledge and above all else, his friendship. We send love to all his family and friends.

Rest in peace Peter ❤️.

It is with great sadness that we lost a great friend and a real super hero of the trade yesterday, Mr Peter Moon ❤️ who will be missed by many. Peter was responsible for distributing so many reefing brands over the years, and he was an exceptional, polite gentleman in every sense of the word.

Both Rachel from H2O Aquatics and myself, have spent the past couple of years praying 🙏🏻 and communicating with Peter weekly, hoping that this day wouldn’t ever come (after a life long friendship) when we found out the news that Peter had contracted cancer. Peter has been visiting every store I’ve ever worked in since I was 19 years old and more recently we worked on Reef Nutrition together, but he was responsible for many many other brands including Elos Aquarium UK. He will be sadly missed . Paul ###

Elos AquaTest NO3 Test Kit. In freshwater aquaria the optimal level of Nitrate should be below 20 mg / lt. Values ​​of over 75 mg / lt should be avoided at all costs. In marine aquarium the level should not exceed 20 mg / l. A level of 5-10 mg / lt is the maximum for reef aquariums.

The NO3 reagent from ELOS, especially developed for fresh water and sea water aquarium, allows the determination of the Nitrate level with the help of a finely tuned colour scale which shows a range of 5 - 75 mg / Lt
