A slightly soggy day at Wellington yesterday but all the horses jumped their socks off and feeling great ahead of their last few events.

Emperors Flight was star of the day being super speedy and picking up 2 wins 🥇🥇

Gazello Van Het Wilderhof, Brendonhill Faerie Maestro, Secret Affair and Nazilvia Keizersberg all jumped double clears.

A busy day but it was definitely worth the outing!

Who jumped it best? 🤩

A good day at the office at West Wilts with all three horses finishing in the ribbons.

Two very good boys both finishing on their 30 dressage scores:

🥈Gazello Van Het Wilderhof Z owned by Mel Way
🏅9th in a very competitive section for Emperors Flight owned by Ellie Stoneham

Sarah Marshall on her own New Kidz Van Het Eelshof finishing 6th in her Novice section.

It was great to gallop on perfect ground after such a long time on the firm going 👌

A busy but brilliant weekend at Wellington International Horse Trials!

Gazello Van Het Wilderhof Z jumped double clear in his first event with us, really excited to see what’s to come with this one!

Emperors Flight owned by Ellie Stoneham finally had a chance to run after a number of frustrating minor issues have led to a bit of an interrupted season for him. He posted a smart test and a double clear to finish 🥉looking forward to the rest of the season with him!

Brendonhill Faerie Maestro owned by Rebecca Dobson scored 31.5 in his first novice test sitting at the top of the leader board but as planned he didn’t jump as the ground wouldn’t have suited him we will save him for when we get some rain.

Nazilvia Keizersberg had a great run with Sarah Marshall finishing just out of the top 10 in 11th place with a few time penalties from a steady run cross country.

Sarah also had a good run with her own horse New Kidz Van Het Eelshof jumping a confident double clear.

Mel Way finished off the weekend with a win in the 1* with Secret Affair to round off a brilliant weekend! 🍾🥂🥇

Thank you to Grace Hillier holding the fort at home, Tilly having her first day out helping at an event and to our whole support team. It’s so rewarding when the horses go so well and it’s all down to the team effort!

Wellington had put in so much effort to improving the ground and we are all very grateful for this 🙏

Horses all feeling fantastic at Portman this weekend. Rebecca Dobson’s Brendonhill Faerie Maestro coping very well with the undulations of the cross country for such a big horse following up on a 29.5 dressage to finish 4th.

Ellie Stoneham’s Emperors Flight did a lovely test for 30 and a clear in the showjumping but decided not to run him cross country this time, looking forward to getting him out again at Bicton in a couple of weeks.

Mel Way on flying form with Secret Affair picking up a win 🥇 with a 24.3 dressage and double clear👌

Sarah Marshall also had a great run on our own Nazilvia Keizersberg for 7th place in their first BE100 together.

Not a bad weekend for the team!
