The season might be over but we’ve been busy working with the young horses doing some jumping exercises at home and have had a couple of trips out to arena hire for some their first outing away from home.
Love producing these young green horses and seeing them develop. Looking forward to continuing their education. A couple of the older horses sneaking into the video too enjoying their job and having a bit of fun!

After travelling up to Norton Disney last night we were sad that the event cancelled very early this morning. We had walked the xc last night and it looked a nice track but with the amount of rain overnight the cancellation was to be expected! We rerouted for a very soggy xc school at Vale View on the way home a bit of a disappointing end to the season!
Fun day with the babies and ponies all out at Munstead yesterday. Jill Mitchinson’s lovely big young horse Porter doing his second event finishing just out of placings in 11th.
Sarah rode the pony team - Mel’s young pony Lily who enjoyed every minute - pinging round and Lorraine Whale’s Buttons who was doing his first event and was also very enthusiastic to be out!
Star of the day was Max owned by Ellie Stoneham who won his section on 23.8 🥇
Really rewarding developing the young horses all having an enjoyable outing and learning lots!

What a busy couple of days with some really super horses! Jump lessons yesterday, pony dressage this morning followed by a quick trip to Tweseldown to xc school a few then back to Parwood to finish the day with a first Advanced Medium for Buster!
Biggest of thanks to Sarah Marshall who is a total star keeping things going at home along with the help of Beverley Molter 🙏🙏
Very lucky to ride these horses for great owners!

Really fun day yesterday with super young horses at West Wilts all very green and inexperienced but stepping up and doing a great job! All clear cross country and learning so much! Jill Mitchinson’s “Porter” was the star of the day - 3rd in his first event 🌟 exciting times to come! Super ground thank you West Wilts!!
Now settled in for a weekend at Frickley Park Horse Trials with Joblesse Van Bareelhof and Yuxuan Su Eventing All or Nothing and Lissan Alfie 🤞🤞

We had a great weekend at Rockingham Castle International Horse Trials - fantastic to be back at one of our favourites and as always a beautifully presented event with educational tracks. We started off with 4 year old Nazilvia Keisersberg in the BYEH behaving impeccably with so much going on around the arena. Really pleased with how she's developing and she's now out in the field having a well deserved break. Saturday we had Yuxuan Su Eventing for completing his first 3* on All or Nothing which was very exciting! We rounded off the weekend with Buster running right a the end of the day on Sunday, a reasonably lengthy hold on course meant it was certainly twilight eventing but very pleased with how he picked up again and came home so easily. A couple of quieter weeks now before we build again to the next targets. As always, the biggest of thanks to all of our team, at the events and at home, our fabulous owners and supporters who we couldn't do this without!

Old memories of a special horse - Hop and Skip - we all have a one in a million horse, I was lucky enough to have two, but this one is definitely one of them! ❤️
Great day with super horses in the sunshine (and wind!!) at Moreton to kick of our 2022 season. A lot of freshness, but also some great work and really pleased with a 3rd place for Buster and a good solid first run with Rory to get to know him with a 29 test and fun spin round the cross country.
Also a good first run for Thomas Heffernan Ho.
Thanks to all our team who were all as excited to get out for the first event!

Joblesse Van Bareelhof owned by Tina Adams and Sally Grant tried very hard in his test at Cornbury today despite the weather! A frustrating jog in the walk but otherwise a solid test to score 33.3 - a big thank you to Karen Shepherd Pepperwood Park for coming today to prepare us for our test.
We are looking forward to going back tomorrow for the jumping phases - so much work going into the ground and beautiful courses!
