After jumping a clear round on her mount Greenacres Special Cavalier she watched as all the following horses had fences down and gradually rose up the leader board until overnight leader Tim Price had five fences down which gave her the win.

My first post from my few days working at the 2024 Cheltenham Festival last week is a few photos from the 100th running of the Gold Cup. I had seen the possibility of a photo of the winner jumping the final fence with the sponsors logo behind and was positioned at the top of the steps with that in mind and despite the loose horse I think it worked out pretty well. It also allowed me the time to get back to the winner’s enclosure in time to get shots of the celebrations following the victory. Lucinda Russell Racing Boodles
