Want your business to be the top-listed Pet Store/pet Service?
Mrs Murray's was founded back in 1889, named after our founder Mrs Susan Murray, who worked tirelessly to provide food and a place of refuge for stray dogs and cats in the City and Shire of Aberdeen. She was the widow of a local advocate. The Home has since expanded to take in animals from their owners who, for a variety of reasons can no longer keep them and find new homes for them. Each year around 1000 animals pass through our doors - Most abandoned and unwanted.
The Home serves the North East of Scotland and is a registered charity. We receive no government funding and is largely dependent on legacies, donations and the support of the public to help fund the cost of looking after the animals and securing their future.
