I am planning to mate Ulrika Gorgeous Waves to Carocurl Rufus in the very near future. This will be her maiden litter and all being well kittens will be a mix of short and long hair Selkirk Rex. Thank you Alena Turchanka for this gorgeous sweetheart.

I’m so happy with how Winnie and Jeff’s babies are growing up. Such lovely boys. They had their first vaccinations last week and are all within a 100g weight of each other.

Kittens are growing up so fast. They are just about weaned and litter trained now. Caspar (CP straight) is the most loving and quietest as yet. Bas (cream and white) is an adventurer, always first to try things. Mel (seal CP) is just a bundle of joy - tearing round and playing with anyone, he’s fearless.

This litter is just a delight. 3 weeks 3 days and they are all over 400g already. I am totally besotted with them. As they were born on 23rd Dec I have named them after the 3 kings. The cream colourpoint and white straight is Caspar. The chocolate (?seal) colourpoint is Melchior (Mel for short) and the cream and white is Balthasar (Csar for short). Sorry if the photos are a bit out of focus but quite dark where they are.

Look what the Christmas Stork delivered in the wee small hours of today.

Winnie (Boho Winter Of Limerick) delivered 3 lovely babies between 1.30 and 4.30am. 2 colourpoints one curly and one straight and a fawn or possibly hot cream bicolour curly. 2 or possibly 3 boys. They all weighed about 125g and are feeding well. Dad is Jeff Shillana. Mum is just loving having kids again.

I am delighted to welcome Ulrika Gorgeous Waves to Carocurl Selkirk Rex. She is my future queen to replace Aloisa next year. Ulrika is a beautiful shorthair black tabby tortoiseshell and white Selkirk Rex. Thank you Alena Turchanka of Gorgeous Waves for entrusting this enchanting girl to me.

After 5 days on the road travelling from Belarus she walked straight out of the carrier and started playing. Many thanks go to Smarty-Pet’s Transport for getting all the pets to their homes safely after a very difficult and arduous journey which had long, many, many hours delay at both the Lithuanian/Polish border and at Folkestone. I just cannot get over how relaxed and playful she is.

Aloisa getting used to being a much loved pet with me. She is so special she stays. She can sit with me in the office now as this side of the cottage has access to outside. I no longer have to worry about her sneaking out into this side of the cottage. Her last stint of escapology she was so fast, ended up jumping out of landing window and then exploring the scaffolding on the neighbouring cottage. She had already told me she had had enough of having kittens. I had planned this as her last litter. Typical of her she still had milk at 3 months after, when spayed. I had to hand rear her last lot of babies yet again as milk came in so late 😂.

Hi, kittens are growing and they are so sweet. I’ve been adjusting to starting work again after 5 months off! Thank goodness I am working from home. Pearl, the first picture is the only kitten available :-) she’s a straight haired chocolate tortie colourpoint girl.
