🎉🎉🎉 WE DID IT!!!! 2nd in the Northallerton Equestrian Centre 6yr old National Semi Finals- meaning we have qualified for the National Championships! It was definitely worth the long couple of days with 12.5 hours of driving for me! I’m super grateful to everyone who’s helped me get this far- to Tim and Antonia Brown who sold us this amazing horse, to Richard White who’s training has been invaluable, toGeorgia Jennings my absolute super groom hero and, most importantly, to @greta hare for letting me ride this incredible boy 💜💜💜

Navarro and I are qualified for the Summer National Championships 💜🎉! Yesterday we headed off to the Regionals at Parwood Equestrian Centre and it was a bit of a rollercoaster! We had a good start but early on there was an unfortunate moment when some of the sheets were collected from the judges box just as I was riding past, causing an unexpected spook from Navarro and a series of low marks across the 3 judges. I finished my test on 69.3%, not quite the score I was hoping to achieve and so felt disappointed- however it was enough to retain 2nd place!! So thrilled that we managed to qualify despite our spook and hopefully we can continue some good form for next week at the second 6yr old Semi Final 🤞🏻Greta Hare

Hartpury Equine International Events National 6yr old Semi Final Completed!! We had such a fantastic time competing at this amazing event and Navarro just made me so proud. It was an enormous atmosphere and of course it was hugely strong company, but I was just thrilled to even be amongst some of the best 6yr olds in the country. Navarro produced a polished test, and we scored 76.2%, leaving us in 8th place!! Delighted to have finished in the top 10 and I must thank the incredible Georgia Jennings for all her hard work and great company!! Of course I must thank Greta Hare, I will never stop being grateful for these opportunities on this wonderful horse of yours 💞 Navarro- you’re just my King 🤩💜

Belmoredean

A lovely albeit warm day out with my boys at Belmoredean today! O’Malley was back out again after some time training and growing (!) and he was beautifully behaved but sadly a little too overcome by the heat in the indoor today! The majority of his test was really positive but he just slightly gave up at the end and the last canter sequence was incredibly costly and resulted with a poor mark- not reflective of him or his capabilities but onwards and upwards because he’s a special one 🤩. Navarro was a star today and had a fab Elementary Win overall and he also did his first Medium test and I was beyond thrilled with him! A 1st in his section and just into 2nd overall but he felt great and hopefully can keep up this form at the Young Horse Semi Finals next week 🙈🌟🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. Thank you to the support crew today!

Hickstead

Bridget’s first time at Hickstead this week and she was a good girl, just a frustrating pole in both days jumping 😅

Such a great couple of days at @hicksteadevents Premier League dressage show with Greta Hare‘s Navarro I. We started off with a bang on Wednesday with winning the Elementary class overall on +72% 🥇! Then today was the 6yr old class with very hot competition (it felt like a lot to compete against Mr Hester!). Navarro had a bit of a tense start through no fault of his own but still pulled out a great performance to end up with a +78, just felt we could have had slightly better points but still delighted with him! Super grateful for the exceptional training and groundwork I receive from Richard White and Kyra Kyrklund and of course to Greta Hare for your unbelievable support! Also an enormous thank you to my super groom Georgia Jennings 💞

Polework clinic

A huge thank you to everyone who attended the polework clinic on Saturday! Everyone did a super job and it was a lovely day to spend in the sun (especially with the tea and cake!). Roll on the next one 🥰

6th at the National Championships 💞

6th at the Winter National Championships at Addington in the Elementary Silver!!! Navarro and I drew the short straw by having to go first in the class which is never easy but somehow we managed to post a really solid score and end up coming 6th! Never expected a top 10 result, he’s only a young horse and I’m so proud of him. Thank you to my amazing support crew Ginny Durkan, Chloe Durkan, Paul Griffiths and a huge thank you to Kyra Kyrklund and Richard White for your invaluable training. Most of all though- to Greta Hare- I can never be thankful enough for you 💞

Navarro 💥

Solid outing today with Navarro at Parwood Equestrian in two Elementary classes 😎. A few mistakes were made due to the sideways wind and rain- Navarro felt the need to add in a couple of his own movements 🙃🙊! But a pleasing set of results nonetheless - 2nd in section, 3rd overall in the first test and 1st in section and 2nd overall in the second - now onto Nationals 🙈😅!

Had such a great time hosting my second polework clinic- thank you to everyone who attended! Plenty of coffee and cake was consumed and after 7 straight hours of teaching- bring on the next one! 😅🤩💞

So delighted with this absolutely lovely mare today having her first jumping session away from home! She was started by myself at the end of last year and I think she has an exciting future ahead of her 🤩😍

Today was an outing for both O’Malley and Navarro to Dressage at Belmoredean . Started the day with O’Malley in his prelim class, hard to remember he’s only a green 4yr old sometimes as we did have some mistakes creeping in, but still managed to bring home the Win overall - so excited for this guys future 🥰🌟. It was then Navarros turn in his two Elementary classes; he’s still new to this level and mistakes were also made but he achieved both Wins in his sections (with 2nd and 3rd respectively overall). This lovely girl went on her first ever outing today to Coombelands. She’s only been broken in a few weeks and just started popping over fences- today being her first time over natural ones! She’s got such a super attitude and I think she’s a little 🌟 !!
