Looking back on 2024 it had highs and lows like all years in Rescue. We lost a few of our wonderful animals, it always hits us hard when they get their angel wings, and sadly one of our loyal supporters, Peter Kane, his dogs Lexi and Half are back safe with us.
Our little pal Seamus, I remember driving to a cattle market a very long way away to rescue him. His Dad had a lovely tattoo done in remembrance of him ❤️.
Our own GSD Tank went to join Jo at the bridge. Bless, Old Wilfy left after having his best years with us, even enjoyed a cuddle eventually.
Nita got her wings just before Xmas, I am broken hearted. She gave me one of my proudest moments in Rescue when she came with me to give a lecture on Rescue and Dog Aggression in Bangor University. One of those dogs I will never get over loosing 😥.
Beautiful Sheba joined us, her rescue were delighted we opened our hearts to offer her a home, she has helped mend Phil's heart after loosing Tank ❤️.
After having no offers for the fabulous Bruni, I decided that she should stay with us as a teaching dog. She is one of the most wonderful dogs we have ever had at Happy Days, someone has missed out on a perfect girl. Their loss is our gain.
Happy New Year everyone. Massive thanks for all the support you give our little Rescue ❤️
