XL Bullie people listen up.
If you have exempted your dog it must be on lead and muzzled from that date.
One seized as not muzzled. Owner thought it was 31 Dec
Bella was always hilarious with Oscar, she liked to take him for a walk. He was so gentle with her and never pulled on his lead 🤣❤️
Hutch came out briefly but it started raining again so he waited for Hope to bring him something. It has been raining here for days, mud everywhere 😢
I think Hope likes Xmas 🤣🤣🤣
Sending hugs to all the rescue kennel staff that work every Xmas all over the world come rain or shine looking after all the homeless dogs and cats. ❤️
NJ getting the idea. Babs has a lovely new bow in green 💚
Thank you Ben and Lesley for the Xmas box for NJ xx
Bless little DeeDee, her first Xmas. Maddie showed her what to do. She picked it up really quickly. 🤣 I think she likes it in Wales ❤️
The girls were very good at sharing today. So many lovely presents for them ❤️
Bless Wilfo, he loves bacon sizzlers 🥳❤️🥳
For those of you who don't know the Ashblonde story.
This is the culmination of 3 years work with a dog that has been growling and snapping at me through fear
Happy Christmas everyone from Ashblonde and Jill ❤️🥳🥳🥳
Very special video coming tomorrow.
Well that's me in tears, let's do this, let's get her home to Happy Days ❤️
So followers, a dilemma as usual. We have received so many donations of food, blankets and treats for the resident dogs and cats we don't need to buy anything else for them.
Some people have sent money to buy things for them.
Carmen asked me last night if we could help her with this little girl. The transport is expensive from Romaina. Shall we spend the donations to save this little one ??? Her name is Noire, a young girl. Carmen has taken her home to keep her safe.
Thanks to the production team at Wockhardt UK who collected a huge bundle of toys, food and treats for our resident dogs and cats. This is just a small portion of it! We are lucky to have such lovely supporters. Merry Christmas everyone!
Many thanks to Garfield and Jim, two of our rehomed cats (and their new brothers and sisters) for the lovely donation of food for our resident cats this Christmas. They will all eat well with this.
Deedee really enjoyed a bit of freedom today. She still has a short lunge line on until I trust her ❤️
A big 'Thank you' to Cheryl and her staff of Samco Pet Spa, The Roe, St Asaph for hosting a Christmas Fundraiser in support of Happy Days Animal Recue.
Thank you and a very Happy Christmas to all the people who bought tickets. A fantastic £106 in total was raised for the rescue.
The draw took place on 23rd of December.
1st prize, a Christmas Food and Drinks Hamper was won by Kayleigh.
2nd prize, A dog nail treatment kindly donated by Samco Pet Spa was won by Amy Lloyd
Congratulations to the winners!!
Rescue has never been in such a desperate situation, for all breeds and crosses.
Whatever you think of XL Bullies this is heartbreaking. Just think how you would feel if it was your breed, your dog. If it was GSDs, if it was collies it would impact so badly on me.
This new legislation just issued is beyond belief. Rescues that have tried to help sort this mess (let's not wrap it up - bloody breeders, who knew this was coming and still bred more pups) who have taken in pups as young as a few weeks old now have no options but to kill them. Joe Public will get £200 from the government to kill their dogs. Rescues that are trying to clean up the mess caused by breeders will get £100. What are breeders getting, oh yes, their scummy source of income reduced 🤬 not to worry they have probably already moved on to the next breed.
STOP BLOODY BREEDING. STOP BLOODY BUYING THE PUPS. WAKE UP UK PUBLIC THIS IS ON YOU.
Our lovely old gents are going grey and looking very distinguished ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you John Ulotti for the donation of food, bedding and toys following the loss of you dog. Much appreciated.

Santas little elves took over and organized all the donations. Every dog and cat has a bag of goodies for Xmas Day and lots in the store room for the New Year. Massive thank you to everyone that has sent a present for a dog or cat. They will have a great Xmas ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Paul and Matt helping out today bringing all the parcels into the training school to be opened and shared out for the resident dogs and cats
Working on Hutch on his own today trying to get him to stay with me longer. Hope isn't happy as she knows she is missing out on chicken !! Don't worry, she got hers later.
Not quite Hope but you did get the treats!! At least Hutch was joining in. Not a gentle soul is she 🤣🤣🤣
As poor Hutch didn't get a look in as usual, I took Hope away so he could have a go with an egg box. If I can get him to play that will be a great step forward for his rehab. He did great ❤️
Hope and Hutch today with their first ever egg box with treats in. Supposed to play with it and work out how to get the treats !!! Hope is always ahead of me 😂
Phew, harness on. Only on loosely and trailing a lead. Having to move very slowly with our boy. Brushed enough floof out of him again to stuff a cushion 🤣. They always shed their old coat and grow a new one once they get here and get good food. Boy is he a floofy fella.
Deedee is doing great, our frightened little girl is out with some of our other residents and making friends. Wilf absolutely loves her ❤️, They share a kennel together, who would ever have thought that would happen 😁
I have taken Hope away for a few minutes to work with Hutch on his own. Thank God we bought them together, I dread to think what state he would have been in if we had left him behind 😭
Our little boy, now Teddy, really is just perfect, look at him playing with his cat brother ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
