As you all know our main Bruce has been out the back for start of the year as we are trying to refurb his viv to be more economical in heat. Unfortunately he has taken a turn for the worst and we lost him early hours this morning. He has lived a very happy life with us but as we rescued him we were never sure how long we would enjoy his company for. We all very sad here but im glad for all the children and plenty of adults who had cuddles with him.

Keeping up the bird news, plenty of new arrivals this week. Aviary cockateil,finch,canary and these beautiful sounding celestial parrotlet. The Aviary are sounding great we everyone in morning song.

Unfortunately if you were considering the hand reared cockateils one of them in particular has to have a night time 'snuggle'. It usually gets cranky if you uncover it too soon.

We all like to hear about your animal stories so I thought I would share. For those who remember her when she first came in as a puppy many moons ago my little Jack Russel has made it to her 17th birthday yesterday. She had a busy day enjoying sleep and some treats with the 3 remaining teeth she has to chew them. There was a family video with a happy birthday sing-a-long, but being deaf meant she walked away mid song without a care in the world.

We had the pleasure of creating our own name, and just so you all know, we are still here despite the road closure we named it after Tut Hill. It's a great quality food but still affordable. These little guys are fantastic. Their colours are out of this world, and they're growing brilliantly.
These guys are a nice addition if you fancy something a little different and they're not very difficult to provide the correct setup.
