A friend shared this with me today. I had no idea !;

if a dog needs blood during a veterinary operation, where does it come from?

I have to say, this isn’t a question I’ve ever asked myself before but, when you think about it, it’s a great question.

The answer is the Pet Blood Bank UK

They run a regional blood doning service for canines and our incredibly brave boy, Barney, gave his first donation yesterday. He was amazing and the staff are just so caring. They spoilt him with treats, made sure he was comfortable at all times and afterwards he got to choose a toy to take home and a bag of treats. That’s in addition to his neckerchief, obviously! After a snoozy afternoon he’s now back to his bright and happy self 😊

Not one person I’ve spoken to have heard about the service and I’d like to do as much as I can to raise awareness. I know that if Barney were ever in need, these guys would be there for him.

So please, re-post or share this with your networks. I know it’s not an especially LinkedIn type post but there are a lot of dog lovers and owners in my network.

For those that train with me, you will know I am always going on about protecting the dogs bones and spine. This is a perfect demonstration as to why we never do repetitive weaves. I prefer to revert to 4 poles or channels.

Its been 4 amazing fabulous years running my own business. It has been challenging to say then least especially during the pandemic. I have learnt so much about running a business and about myself. Met some incredible people along the way. I also met some amazing wonderful dogs. We have made the life changing decision to move to Shropshire. A big move but a less stressful lifestyle. So for the time being I am mothballing Loving Leads and taking sometime out, see what the future brings. I hope to cross paths with you guys again at some stage in the future

Happy New Year everyone. Its been a diabolical festive period with Sarah coming down with Covid 21st Dec and then me 29th Dec. Thankfully we are finally out of isolation and ready to take on 2022. We have education plans around dog behaviour. So bring it in 2022 and dont be 2020 too🤣🤣
