Good news for our Jesmond cats! It was touch and go whether we decided on one side or the other going forward as getting around the barriers was frankly hell and added so much time.

Lovely walk around Bolam Lake this morning.
The swans are so bold! If you pause a while by the water's edge they come swimming up hoping for a few crumbs. Dogs and swans are a bit of a recipe for disaster so we had to keep moving - they do tend to follow though so we were on the run to keep out of their way 🤣

We don't walk or look after any XL Bullies but if you know anyone who has one they may be interested in this. I have attended a dog law course with Trevor previously and he definitely knows his stuff.

We want to thank all of the parents of the tiny critters for trusting us with your gorgeous furry/feathered/spiky and scaly friends for the last almost 15 years!
It's been a pleasure to look after every one of them. We've officially closed our doors to small pet boarding but are happy to announce that it will continue with Nicole taking over the reins.
All of the set ups and care will remain the same and she can be contacted on 07786336017.
We do still offer visits locally if you're just going away for a short period.

Hello Jesmond peeps, just wanted to touch base about the elephant in the room which is the 'Berlin Wall'. If you live there, you know what I mean!

Can't tell a lie but it's causing us huge issues with the cat visits. If everyone was on one side or the other it wouldn't be a problem but guys you refuse to be corralled on the same side!

Traffic getting around is an absolute nightmare, especially at certain times of day and don't even go there with the extra mileage.

We had to give up on Garden Village in Gosforth after the closure of Hollywood Bridge and I've dealt with the Heaton Park road closure madness, now this one and sadly the new road closures around The Grove in Gosforth are going to be similar. At some point it's simply not going to be doable.

I completely appreciate if you are happy with what the council is doing but if not, please sign the petition:

The boarders are glad it's finally stopped raining!

Soo...such fun yesterday morning rescuing a hapless but glorious little mouse from a naughty cat's kitchen.

Shut aforesaid bad kitty away while I chased the very speedy and definitely unhurt rodent round and round. It passed the open door several times before finally making a bid for freedom.

Cat 0, mouse 1! I call that a successful mission 😄

Anyway, it was one of these guys (and to protect the guilty party there's a month's worth of kitties...).

Hopefully getting a new phone in the next couple of days so the pics will be better and more organised!
