Louie 💚
A little clip from Louie this morning. He learnt this in less than ten minutes! You can see he struggles in the last second to hold the ‘stay’ but still does ! This dog has massive drive and loves his ball. Great job Louie. 💙 next we will build distance and duration. (Excuse my sore throat ) 🤣
We started some basic scent work with Louie last Sunday afternoon. Initially he had zero confidence in the task.
We started real easy and gave massive reinforcements for finding the item. In a matter of days he can now search several acres without support. The field here is also full of rabbits, foxes and pheasants! So lots of distraction.
In this particular clip he is also upwind of the scent and still does an awesome job. This can be an amazing game for your dog, brilliant brain work and extremely tiring ! ❤️❤️
Here’s Harley and Buddy enjoying their freshly baked treats from Sophie’s kitchen. Thanks to Mum Tina for sharing this video 🐶💚
Teddy, straight out of the van and into loose lead.
Yes, he really is this good👌🏼
because he’s worked hard 😎
Notice, when he starts to follow his nose his loose lead deteriorates slightly, worth thinking about if you are struggling with this subject, allowing our dogs to follow their noses nearly always always ends up with poor lead work.💚
Teddy, Coops, Charlie, Murphy and.... little Ella who has just had her long line taken off after a mornings work. Aren’t they all beautiful!! ❤️💙
Cooper stays - part two.
So alongside a rock solid stay. I want Cooper’s owner to also be able to either return to her dog or to call him to her. It’s important he knows what to do in both situations. Look how he pleased he is to get it right 😍
Here is Cooper 😍 running through some loose lead training. He’s easily distracted and loves his mate Murphy so we really put the pressure on him and he did great !! 💜
Further improvements here with Gucci 🧡please excuse the wobbly film, weather was awful 😂
