I had an interesting conversation recently about fussy dogs so I thought posting this example of mine might help others out there. Otis LOVES cheese! He would exchange me for a single slice of cheese without hesitation. So you'd be forgiven for thinking that Yak chews, which are a hard cheese made simply from milk and lime juice would be just his favourite thing ever! However, I found he will happily play with a Yak chew, but not eat it 🤦🏻♀️ Knowing he's a sensitive soul when it comes to some foods I tried Puffing it in the microwave for him. This softens it considerably and increases the smell of cheese. Again, he refuses. Proof that Otis is just a delicate baby bird. He loves crumpets with Bovril and always gets given the last bite of mine so I thought I'd treat him to his very own.
