Dog walking space available from the start of August. No set time as these change daily.
2 spaces available for small/medium sized dogs who are socialised to enjoy a small group walk. Must be well mannered and walk on and off lead.

After a stay at the vets, you may need to take special care of your cat 🐈‍⬛ when they get back home:

🐾If your cat has had anaesthetic that day,
they may be subdued or a little unsteady.
🐾Cats may be nervous and disorientated - talk and stroke them gently and allow them to come to you first.
🐾Try to prevent your cat licking any wound
or pulling at stitches. If this happens, your vet can provide a soft collar for your cat to wear temporarily.
🐾Call your vets if you have any concerns that a wound is red, swollen or has discharge.
🐾Make sure any medications are given.
🐾Signs of pain include loss of appetite,
hiding or being withdrawn.
🐾You may need to keep your cat indoors
for the first night or longer.
🐾Provide a quiet, warm spot in the house
for your cat to rest.

10 long months in kennels for poor Buddy 😥
We added a sofa to make his room a little more homely but it is just not the same as being in a home with a family of his own.

Buddy is only 2 years old and loves people and being around people so it makes it even sadder that he hasn't got the thing in life he really craves.

He does need a special person who is going to give him time and put the training in with him but if he got that from you he could be such a good boy once in a routine and settled.

As we are absolutely desperate to find Buddy a home.
We are willing for him to go on a foster with a view to adoption to give him a chance.

Buddy needs someone who has the patience to give him time to settle in and build up a routine with him, after all this time in kennels he needs time to decompress.

Buddy needs a pet free home with a secure garden of his own (not a communal garden)

He needs a dog savvy family who are willing to continue with his training.

Buddy is an active young dog so will need to have adequate exercise, he will just chill out after walks and snooze the day away on the sofa.
Out on walks Buddy walks well in a halti, he can be reactive to some dogs but it's something we have been working hard with him to sort out so whoever takes Buddy will need to be confident walking him and continuing his training, luckily he is very food motivated which helps immensely with this.

Due to his issues on walks we are looking for an adult home for Buddy, he is never going to be a dog who can go out for family walks in busy places.

Buddy has been out on a few trials but sadly they haven't worked and the coming and going has really affected him 😥

However from him going on trials we have found out more information about Buddy when he first goes into a home.
He might have the odd accident while he settles in his home, he needs to be taken out regularly while he builds up a routine.
He may wake up early as he is in a new place with new people, again he needs training and to settle and get a new routine.

Buddy is so loving, he is a tall boy but can curl himself into a tiny ball when he's having a nap (he can also stretch his long legs as he lies on his back with his legs in the air.)

He isn't really into toys unless he gets the zoomies with one of his teddies and will run around like a loon for 5 minutes before flopping in a heap for a rest.
