Visitors are always shocked to see Boris leap onto his back legs and make sure he has the prime spot for any snacks. Maybe pigs can fly after all? 😂

What’s the difference between a pot belly pig and a mini pig?

Absolutely nothing!! Some people simply started referring to pot belly pigs as mini pigs to differentiate big pigs(600 pounds +) from little pigs( pot belly).

The term “mini” pigs can be confusing to some leading them to believe that teacup pigs exist😩I saw this scenario happen twice just yesterday. Pot bellies already have a 95-98% rehoming rate so this was scary to see.

Sanctuaries are bursting at the seams right now. Costs are climbing making fundraising extra challenging. Meanwhile breeders keep breeding and selling their lies. They love to take full advantage of the misinformed. They see dollar signs while the emotional animal pays the toll of their scam.

There is no such thing as an “ethical breeder”.Each and every one will refer to themselves as an amazing pig loving ethical breeder. If they genuinely cared about pigs they would see the crisis and stop adding to it but yet they continue on😡

Currently almost every single sanctuary has their intake held for emergency cases only. We just can not keep up with the rehoming requests. Please research before you decide to add a pig to your family. Contact your local sanctuary for real and honest information and consider adopting.

Below is Sage and Parsley who arrived here in a medium sized dog kennel… together 🥺 Even though they were starved they are both now over 100 pounds. Their growth will be stunted due to their past but they will still not ever be teacup size.

I promise you… teacup pigs do not exist
