There’s going to be quite a few goodbye posts coming up 😕 ready for my area change!

Today was Buddy’s last walk with me, before he goes back to his old friends and previous Dog Walker, buds is the perfect group walking doggo, think he’d quite happily fit and make friends with any group, he quite literally loves everyone and every dog! He’s an extremely happy little lad with the flappiest ears 😅 he’ll be very missed, I’m sure he’ll have the best of time back with his old friends 🐾

Today was sadly the start of the goodbyes, although Lennie’s relocation next month is a little bit further away than mine 😅
This boy has been an absolute joy to work with for 3 years, full of energy, loves all his friends, and no walk was complete without being covered in fuzz balls! Will miss this little lad, he’s going to have such an exciting new venture 🐾

Come September it’s time for a slight change, bitter sweet time to say goodbye to some incredible dogs this month, and time to welcome some new faces in September!

I wanted to share some important updates about changes coming on August 30th. My clients are already aware but my time covering dog walks in Witney is coming to an end. This was an incredibly difficult decision, and I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to my beloved Witney doggos! However, I'm pleased to announce that Alex from Pups on Patrol, who is being mentored by Tim from Reggie Walks Witney, will be taking over many of my Witney dogs. I'm confident that my clients who will be moving services to Alex your dogs will be in safe, loving hands and that this will make their transition to a new dog walker much smoother.

Starting September 1st, I will be expanding my services to cover Faringdon, while continuing to serve my clients in Carterton and Bampton. For those who are new to my page, I began my business in August 2014, and over the years, I've gained extensive experience with various breeds. My little spaniel, Rosie, will quickly become your dog's best friend!

In terms of availability, I have slots open for walks in Faringdon at 9 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM. Additionally, I offer garden visits, puppy visits, cat feeds, and pet sitting services.

With temperatures hitting 28c today, we had a morning walk in the woods, some drop in visits and home for a frozen banana peanut butter & blueberry Licki Mat. Hope everyone enjoys the sunshine, luckily for doggos (and dog walkers) it’s cooling down next week so all normal walk times will resume 🐾

A few things changing over the next few weeks (unless the weather drastically changes)

-No use of dog parks, due to lack of shade and no access to water for the dogs to cool off in (only drink)
-if temperatures rise to 23/24c it will be garden visits only
-walks will be in the more shaded areas where possible
- If temperatures are set to be above 24c anyday then I will be in touch regarding earlier morning walks/visits

Signs of heat stroke to look out for:
Extreme panting, staggering or collapsing of the legs, heart racing, red or purple gums, glassy eyes and unfortunately seizures.

Tips to keep your dogs cool this week, keep curtains closed at home, pop a fan on, cooling pads or damp towels, freeze there favourite toy, try clip long fur back, avoid unnecessary car journeys, and the obvious leave plenty of water down.

⭐️ update on holiday dates ⭐️
I will now be working May 28th & 29th, due to needing last minute time off for family recently it doesn’t seem right to keep these dates off. As well as needing days off the following week it would mean too much time off, so I will see to all the doggy’s as normal in May. As for June time off, these dates are really important that I’m not contacted, I will be back to my phone for work on the Sunday 9th. Thank you to everyone for your support recently 🐾🐶

I just want to take the time to thank all of my customers, for being understanding and supportive, not just this week but for the last 2 years, as I know it's been a lot to ask at times with short notice.

Moving forward work wise-walks will be normal from Monday; Thursday is a holiday date and Friday. Walks as of May 8th will be normal.

Thank you again, I will reply to any messages Sunday evening.

And…. that’s all walks finished for 2023! I can’t thank you all enough for another amazing year, we’ve welcomed some new faces joining this year, and sadly also said goodbye to some very special doggos🤍 I’m extremely fortunate to have such an incredible job (I remind myself of this whilst the rains hitting me in the face and I’m covered in mud 😂) and even more fortunate to have such supportive clients! I shall miss all the doggos, (roughly within 24 hours of finishing usually 😅) however it’s important to have time to rest, so all messages/calls/emails will be replied to on the 3rd of January ready for my return date on the 4th! I can’t thank you all enough for absolutely spoiling me this Christmas, and of course Rosie 🐾 Merry Christmas everyone, hope you all have a lovely break and have the best Christmas with all your doggos 🐶🎅🏼 x

There’s certain moments doing this job that really make you feel so fortunate to being working with the bestest doggos! Seeing the dogs so happy, so well grouped and having the best time together. (Rosie was sitting this run out 😅) the video is concentrating on Wilma due to it being recorded for her owners as it was only her second group walk out with me. #prouddogwalker
