Trudyscrumptious lilac mink requires a home where she can be the top cat! She has a lovely nature, but can intimidate other cats when the mood takes her. She eats solely wet food.

Seeking forever homes due to ill health.

I haven’t taken many photos recently, this is an older photo of Snowflake. Snowflake and her siblings are just four years old. Snowflake is a blue bicolour, her siblings are Trinket (seal bicolour) and Clara Jasmine (blue mink). They are all seeking their forever homes. I will list a few others below that are all under four years old. I’m sorry that I do not post as regularly or take photos as I used to do, further information regarding the cats can be obtained by contacting me directly.

I am still seeking loving indoor pet homes for my ragdolls, due to my health. I have various ages, they all have wonderful personalities. Some will need to be homed in pairs. Sorry no homes with young children as they are not used to young children. Indoor homes only, or secure catio/cat safe fencing. Every day is quite a struggle for me, which is quite a difficult admission to make. Doing my daily routine is becoming overwhelming for me. I sadly have to let go of quite a few of my fur babies. Genuine enquiries only please. If you are tagged by anyone else on this post or post’s similar to this one on my page, please ignore it as I’ve just removed a few comments and blocked a profile. * Thank you for the responses so far, I however would like to clarify a few things mentioned in the comments. Firstly and most definitely foremost I would not consider putting my ragdolls into a rescue, my reasons are pretty simple, they are my responsibility as I bred each and everyone one of them (albeit some of my older ragdolls, which are my foundation cats) although I struggle each day, I will continue until I have homed them myself. They all have been raised and brought up in my family home, to place them into a rescue has the potential to cause them stress. Rescue’s are bursting at the seams at the moment, I also want to know where they go to live permanently, that’s always been very much a priority for me. I know each and everyone of them, their personalities and my aim is to find homes that suit them and their new families best. Some of them are used to dogs and are pretty confident around them. Homes with children over the age of five years old who have experience with cats will be considered. *

All of these precious fur babies are several generations of my own breeding program, some descend from my foundation king, who celebrates his 15th birthday in July this year. Some descend from my imported Queen from Seattle US, who celebrates her 10th birthday in June. Some also descend from my mink Queen imported from Germany (we made the special trip to pick her up in person) I was the first UK breeder to introduce the mink Ragdoll here in the UK, she celebrates her 9th birthday this month (March) it is from Niamey that the dominant blue eye/odd eye gene comes from. You may wonder why I mention this, as most people know that ragdolls are blue eyed pointed cats and that it’s not unusual to see blue eyed ragdolls and it’s nothing special or indifferent. In the cases of the dominant blue eyed/odd eye they appear on my mink and sepia lines, mink very rarely have blue eyes. This is because of a different gene being responsible for the DBE with links to the white spotting gene. I had recently produced some very high white ragdolls from this line. The DBE/odd eye appear on my colourpoint ragdolls, it is a very distinctive deep blue colour and to the trained eye it cannot go unnoticed. Apologies for going of on a tangent, but I felt it necessary to explain the reason some of my fur babies are different. Having said that they all are very much part of my family and have always been. They have all been raised underfoot with love and affection and I know each and everyone of them individually, their characteristics, temperament and what future home will suit them best. They are all indoor cats and have been raised this way. Some have access to the cat secure garden. They aren’t used to young children either. As some are young adults they will require some more patience settling into their new homes, it’s a massive change for them, new people, new environment, new smells etc. Please bear this in mind when applying for one of my fur babies. I’m fully committed to help, advice on transitioning into their new homes and their lifetime as I have always been.

Beautiful, funny girl Mabel. Mabel is half Maine C**n, half Ragdoll and is two years old. Mabel was the result of an accidental mating from my Maine C**n breeding program. While her sire was 7 months old settling in from his journey from Italy. Mabel is a solid blue with white, she will be a big girl once fully grown as her 3 siblings have developed into. They all have amazing personalities as I stayed in touch with their families. Mabel is an active girl, playing with the other cats. Some of them aren’t quite sure of her zoomies and it can be misinterpreted as dominance behaviour by a couple of them who don’t wish to interact with her. Mabel is a dry fed girl who also loves wet food and her treats. Miss Chatterbox a beautiful girl known lovingly as ‘Chatty’ will be two years old on April the 5th. She’s a seal smoke point and is just one of my fur babies seeking their forever homes. Chatty gets along well with cats, she has a quiet character and has no dominance over any of the cats, she can be quite vocal hence her name. She is affectionate, loves a fuss and eats only a wet food diet and loves freeze dried chicken and fish treats. I’m now in the process of seeking forever homes for some of my ragdolls. It’s been a stressful few months with the rescue dog that I had adopted from Romania, she simply wasn’t the right fit for our family and after months of trying to get rescue back up and causing me so much stress, she was taken back by the rescue a week ago. I am now able to focus on finding forever homes for some of my ragdolls, they are all aged between just under one year old to under five years old. Krazy Keith it’s all in the name. He has to be the most craziest ragdoll that I’ve ever bred! Keith is fully loaded with character, affection and total lunacy in the terms of foolishness. My youngest daughter named him Keith when he was around seven weeks old, apparently because he looked like a Keith 🤷🏻‍♀️ my youngest son (they are twins 17) has also passed comment about him being the craziest ragdoll that I’ve bred, he’s completely fearless I’m sure that this derives from the foolishness. He’s a great hairstylist…so he thinks…the best nuzzle kisser of course, leg hugger, kneader and shoe lace chaser!

When you are vacuuming the sofas and have some assistance, from the beautiful Yogie. He is very precious as they all are in their own right. Yogie will stay with me as a treasured pet in my retirement. He is from from my dominant blue eye line DBE and as far as the eye can tell, I don’t visually see any white lockets as I have with my other DBE. He is possibly like his gt gt grandmother my foundation seal mink Niamey, where I managed to trace the DBE back to. Niamey only in her later life visually (10 years old now, it doesn’t seem like it) showed a tiny white locket at the side of her mouth. The DBE/odd eye only showed itself with Yogies mum Jean Genie five years ago. I have had some good and bad times working with this line. The good times are when you observe the development of the kittens and this is so very rewarding, the bad when you are falsely accused of adding another cat into your gene pool to have such rare beauties, also allegedly having many dangerous health issues surrounding the DBE (it’s actually currently circulating FB) also accused of making 💰because of their rarity, absolutely, totally untrue. I have had a lot of advice/guidance from other breeders globally working with the DBE and those who don’t work with them, but are very knowledgeable about the gene and I thank them so much. Yogie is a low grade seal smoke mink and I haven’t used filters or photoshop, I never have. His eyes really do pop! His brother Krazy Keith can be seen with him in a couple of photos. I’ll do another post with photos of the lunatic at some point today. For now my daily routine starts.

Lilibet what a super affectionate chonky achrondoplasia dwarf …I really must put her on the scales!! Lilibet is my alarm…well really when it suits her…not alway me 🤪 over the years I have had clients inform me of their fur baby alarm clocks…I’ve never really encountered such an alarm clock as Lilibet... she nuzzles under my chin, kisses my chin.…and has now started to nibble my chin if I don’t respond to her!! How can you not love her..she gives, you give back…but it’s the love you raise them with that gives 💕

We aren’t all born perfect, William Wallace is a perfect example of not being perfectly formed, it certainly doesn’t detract from his wonderful affectionate nature and his right to life. Over the years of my breeding, I’ve experienced two types of dwarfism pituitary and achrondopasia and mid line faults you can read about them here http://messybeast.com/dwarf-ragdolls.htm I’ve never hidden the fact about the dwarfs that I have had born here and contributed my experience of them to Sarah Hartwell as genetics play a massive part of breeding and Sarah has a wealth of knowledge and information about feline genetics. All of my not so perfect ragdolls were neutered as William Wallace was in the spring of this year. All of them have stayed with me albeit Sooty once he had overcome his challenges as a kitten, he was perfectly fine to go to a pet home as one of my followers had fallen in love with him. You can see in this video William is such a sweetheart and clearly see his special little curly tail. 🐾

I have not posted anything in quite sometime, everyday is a busy day with looking after the cats and doing my usual daily routine and looking after the family. Liliana and Betty found their forever home during the summer holidays, so pleased for them as they have such a lovely bond and have been placed together. I am still seeking homes for some young adults, they all do have special places in my heart and have such beautiful characters. They are all under 3 years old some of them are just over a year old. I would ideally like some of the girls to be placed in pairs in particular Miss Unique as she’s quite a timid girl, she has a particular bond with her auntie Trinket. Miss Unique is an odd eyed blue mink and Trinket is a seal bicolour. Miss Unique’s sister Milly is a lilac colourpoint also a little timid, ideally Milly can be placed with her mum Clara Jasmine also a blue mink. Sassy Sally their sibling has a huge character and is most definitely the opposite to Miss Unique and Milly! Sassy Sally is a beautiful blue eyed lilac mink, she is absolutely stunning and whoever is lucky enough to become her slave will certainly know that they have her. I also have Miss Chatterbox and Gigi, Chatty is a seal smoke point and it’s in the name (she’s quite chatty) beautiful nature too! Gigi is a chocolate smoke colourpoint mitted, also beautiful friendly girl too. I have Aquamarina a blue mink girl, Jemima’s sister and Tipsy Tot a chocolate smoke point girl, she’s a quiet girl and ideally would suit a quiet home with not many cats, she tends to get picked on by some of the girls. She’s super sweet and loves a lap to cuddle upon. She can be homed with Aquamarina. I also have the beautiful chocolate smoke mink mitted girl Mai, super affectionate indeed. I have a solid blue with white Maine Coon x Ragdoll girl Mabel, she is a beautiful girl and more of a Maine Coon character than a Ragdoll.
