It’s Timeeee!!
My 2025 diary is here and I’m ready to open it up and start booking your gorgeous dogs in 💛
It’s always a great idea to get your appointments secured for the 12 months ahead… which I know is lot, however I do still book up a year in advance so I can’t stress enough how it’s important to secure your appointments early to guarantee your regular appointments and any specific days and times you may require.
As always it’s a first come first served system so I’ll be booking in dogs in order of requests coming in.
This takes me a lot of time so please be patient in allowing me time to write up lists of dates for you.

**SIDE NOTE: I won’t be making any 2025 appointments for anyone who hasn’t paid their Christmas deposit for this year 2024

Please comment here on this post, message privately or text me how often for your dog you’d like, and what days and times are best suited to you, I will always do my very best to do what I can to give you what you’d like.
Sorry for waffling on but lastly thank you all so so much for the continued support and custom I have, not a day goes by that I ever take it for granted. I’m the luckiest and I genuinely from the bottom of my heart thank you and love you all for allowing me to still do this.

I don’t want to talk about Christmas in October but it’s a must!
Please please can everyone who has a December booking for their dog make sure you secure that appointment with a £10 deposit PER DOG.
Without the deposit your appointment isn’t confirmed so don’t be upset with me if and when you do arrive with your dog for their christmas groom and I turn you away as I’ll of filled your slot with another dog who has paid their deposit and you haven’t..
The deposits are non refundable, non transferable and do get deducted off the groom when it’s completed.

I’m always very amicable and understanding every day of the year and never request deposits for every day appointments so for just the month of December I’d be very very grateful if you could all be understanding with me and help me out here by abiding by these requirements.

Hi guys, I’m away on annual leave next week (16th-24th sept) so I’ll be unable to answer calls or messages during that week but I’ll be sure to catch up with everything as quickly as I can when I’m back in the salon.

✨Ellie will be available next week if any of my current clients would like their dog to have a bath and a freshen up, or any teeth cleaning services.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Big transformation for Bill the Westie🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
This was a very rewarding groom to complete, although Bill is incredibly cute in his before pictures, it’s so satisfying being able to sculpt him into a handsome West Highland White Terrier 🤍 (short style without feathering to owners request)
Thank you to his lovely owner who has been a client of mine for many years now and always trusts me to produce top quality styles on her dogs 🙏🏻

My favourite transformation of the week so far is Oscar the Pomeranian 🧡 He was more than ready for a makeover today, his owners requested his usual Teddy style so I got to work and started with removing all his impacted undercoat that was clogging up and along with a deep clean bath and fluffy dry I was able to scissor and style him into the most handsome boy in the land 🥰
Oscar has been a friend of mine for many many years and I love him dearly, he is such a rewarding and enjoyable dog to groom, I’m so very lucky 🧡

Hi everyone, I was due to have a week off work for a holiday this week (8th-12th July) but I’ve moved my holiday to September now so I’m available for a couple of days this week if any of my regular/current clients need me for a last minute appointment.

I’ll be opening the salon on Thursday and Friday if anyone needs a quick bath and tidy up or full groom just let me know 💛

Before and After of Bungle the cockerpoo puppy who had his first grooming session with me yesterday 🧸💛
I was so excited to have him in I’d been looking forward to his visit ever since his mum booked him in!
He thoroughly enjoyed his first grooming experience and I think he looks very smart 🥰

Just a heads up to some people booked into the salon this week, the council are undergoing some roadworks and resurfacing on Main Street so unfortunately the road to me is closed.
Parking and accessing the salon is very difficult so it may require altering your journey and parking. The pavements are still accessible for walking but the road isn’t suitable for vehicles.
This should hopefully be finished by Thursday but I’ll keep you all posted when I know more.

I’m going to keep the salon open and all appointments on Wednesday and Thursday this week will go ahead as planned but if you’re worried or have any concerns just let me know.

It’s the time of year where I’m starting to see ticks and fleas 🪳🐜 And as always I’m extra vigilant and will always look out for these creepy crawlies and let you know if I find any. But If you are aware your dog has them already please let me know asap 🙂
My salon is thoroughly cleaned and treated every single day to ensure no nasties are welcome here 🦟

If you do find a Tick I’d recommend not trying to remove any yourself if you don’t fully know how to do it correctly, as they are difficult little creatures and can be quite dangerous to your pet if they are put under any stress during the removal process.
Always do plenty of research when it comes to flea and tick treatments as there are lots of them out there on the market and they don’t all suit each individual dog.
There are lots of pages and forums online and on Facebook you can follow to find a safe and effective treatment that suits you and your dog.

Well what a weekend it’s been!!!
My dog Rupert, myself and my mum went along to Crufts on Sunday, the biggest dog show in the world down at the NEC in Birmingham.
Rupert (show name: Ch Celtannia Atlantic Gold) was entered into his breed category class and he only went and won 1st place!!! ❤️🎉💚🏆🥇
There is so much depth to Crufts and so many rounds and classes you have to go through in order to represent your breed in the Terrier group and Rupert passed all the rounds competing against so many other dogs from all over the world and he was chosen as the Crufts 2024 Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier winner and we were on Channel 4 in the Terrier group!!

I still can’t believe this has really happened it still feels like a dream, Crufts is such a magical show and the biggest date on every show dog calendar with international competitors from every corner of the world, we all gather in one arena and all share a great love of dogs.

Rupert is owned, groomed and handled in the show ring by me and I couldn’t be more proud of him. He’s such a perfect example of his breed and the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier is sadly on the vulnerable breed list, but I’m very honoured and proud to own this breed and fly the flag for Wheatens and bring these prestigious awards back to Runcorn!

We even got to meet Claire Balding backstage before we were in the main arena walking the green carpet, she was lovely! it was just the most surreal but incredible experience I’ve ever had and I will never ever forget such a remarkable day for me, Rupert and Vanity Furr!

Just a fluffy ball of perfection shaped like a golden retriever puppy. Today was his very first visit to the groomers and I’m feeling so extremely lucky to have been given the honour 🥲
If you know me you know Retrievers are my weakness, and meeting Joey today has just filled my heart right up to the top 🩵

Feeling like the luckiest dog groomer in the land recently, my little salon has been completely transformed into the most beautiful work space I could ever imagine. I had the best first week back in work, I just love being in my happy place 🤍🩵
Its had a complete makeover, all upgraded and freshened up with a brand new look with comfort and hygiene the priority as standard ✨

All credit goes to Terry Lynn and his team at CFS Integrated Services ltd who have worked endlessly to create this amazing salon. I can’t put into words how much I appreciate everything they have done and in the short time frame we had. The hard work and none stop commitment to this build has been incredible and I’m so blessed and lucky to not only know Terry but call him my friend 💙 he’s always got my back and been my biggest supporter going above and beyond and putting everything into his work and everything he does.

I recently had the most stunning blinds fitted throughout my house so I just had to have them in the salon too! They were provided by Metcalfe blinds who I couldn’t recommend more, just beautiful quality, fantastic service, prices and installed immaculately 🙌🏻🤍

✨Christmas appointments✨
If you have a grooming appointment booked for your dog in December could you please secure this appointment by paying a £10 non refundable deposit.
December is my busiest time of year and the deposits have proven to really reduce the chances of “no-shows” and missed appointments.
Please ensure this deposit is paid before the 1st of December otherwise your booking is not secure and you risk losing your appointment.

We looooove a transformation like this ✨✨
This is Winston, and today Winston had a Handstrip groom session, the fluffy puppy coat was removed completely by hand, it preserves the beautiful rich colour and texture of his stunning coat. His owners love his fluffy moppy hair on his head so we kept his wig as it keeps a bit of puppy character to his look. Today has been a rainy day outside, but inside the salon this boy was the sunshine 💛🧡🤎
