We have been devastated to see the wild fires on the Yorkshire Moors, and whilst the firemen, Police and Farmers heroically work to tackle the fires, we’d love to offer our help with the farm animals and wildlife in the area!

Whilst we’re primarily a cat rescue, we also have many other animals on the other side of our site including horses and sheep! Co-ordinating with our fantastic vets too we can also help with animals suffering from burns etc.
We can’t take in horses due to the number we have here already, however we can take sheep and wildlife!
If you know of anyone needing our help in these difficult times please don’t hesitate to contact us, 07796950817 ❤️
We do have some transportation. A horsebox

AN UPDATE ON THE BANK HOLIDAY - It’s been an incredibly busy weekend and unfortunately many serious vet visits to Aldgate vets in Bridlington.
Sadly after many days of struggling, we had no choice but to let Freddie go ❤️
His extremely low red blood count was not improving with iv medication as he refused to eat or drink, his body was attacking itself, we feared that in a short time he may have failed organs and we were not going to let him suffer. We are devastated we loved him very much.💕💕
On the early hours of Sunday we received a call about a little cat in an accident, the lady that witnessed this stayed with her, phoned us and brought her to us, we located the microchip details and after a while the owner was found. That little cat has suffered a broken jaw, but is still alive because of the lady who witnessed the accident and got intouch.
The following day a lady in Eastfield phoned to say she was walking her dog and had found under a fence a cat who had passed away, she brought us the cat and through the chip details we managed to find the owner. Thank you for your kindness.
I really appreciate your help with telling us of cats that need help, without you all, we wouldn’t be able to help them💕🐈‍⬛💕🐈‍⬛💕Tina xx

URGENT URGENT - please. Freddie is one of three beautiful cats that joined us after the sad passing of their devoted owner. Freddie has been very poorly and has received 5 days of emergency care, but this evening has been admitted to Aldgate vets in Bridlington where he is very poorly, he is short of Phosphorus, Phosphate (Foston). Aldgate do not have this available to them quickly and this is needed to save Freddie’s life. It is used in farming by vets especially for cattle. PLEASE if you have any of this medication please get intouch and we will collect from anywhere and take this straight to Aldgate vets. If you know any farmers or vets who deal with livestock please share the post to as many people as possible,
Thank you so much

MERLIN UPDATE- He was in Aldgate vets for 8 nights, with UTI and ruptured bladder, which he was not expected by the vets to recover from, but with the help of our wonderful foster carer, who has devoted her life to Merlin for the past 3 weeks, he has made it through, and is looking very well. A couple more weeks with Linda, Merlin will be looking for an indoor only, perhaps with a small secure garden/catio, somewhere quiet. He is a real fighter and is incredibly lucky to have pulled through.
PLEASE - If ever you suspect that your cat has not passed urine or looks like he or she is struggling, the quicker you get them to a vets the better outcome, it is very painful for them, and the vets will unblock them.
Thank you to everyone who helps us save these wonderful cats. Merlin is just coming up to a year old and has a fantastic future 🐈‍⬛💕

BINX - who only 2 weeks ago had to have one of his front legs amputated, is doing incredibly well, he has also met a very special little orphan kitten here called Charlie, they met in our bedroom where Binx has been recovering, they love each other. We are looking for a very special home where they can live safely together.
They are both really loving and very playful.🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛💕💕
